That picture of Xbox Game Studios, were there any new games shown/teased there? I doubt it myself but it went by so fast.
I for one am looking forward to spending the next 10 pages debating about what this means even though Matt said it's means nothing.
It' so weird seeing people getting excited by studio acquisitions - I thought we were past that
Microsoft doubling down on Xbox being more than hardware when the name literally says BOX rings hollow to me as I suspect it'll ring hollow to many PC gamers.

Did they just say we'll get some of the new games this year? Maybe I misheard it. Could mean we get NT's new game perhaps?
I'd have to agree. But if they want to make Xbox a platform brand instead of a console brand, they'll have to take steps like these.

They seem to suggest titles that the studios were working on previously will be shown but not their latest stuff.
Why? After Xbox has been rather slacking when it comes to this it's great to finally see them stepping up their game. What is weird about being excited about them getting new studios?

He said some of the studios already had games deep in development and we would see them most likely at E3.
Because talented developers have an opportunity to focus on making games instead of scrounging for funding
Yeah that's weird, almost as weird as a company called MicroSOFT making HARDware.
Because Microsoft need a more diverse and far higher quality line-up and with more studio's under their belt the chances of them striking gold increases exponentially.
It's exciting to see studios get the resources and backing to expand. It's also exciting cus it expands the amount of games coming to Game Pass.

So far they've talked about Crackdown, Mortal Kombat, Gamepass and Halo.
