Digital all the wayWould love to know the ages of posters swearing off digital and buying physical versions of every game. Once you move a few times, you realize it ain't worth saving so many plastic boxes.
After my first move, I realized I didnt need any of that shit, and my games werent that much to begin with.Would love to know the ages of posters swearing off digital and buying physical versions of every game. Once you move a few times, you realize it ain't worth saving so many plastic boxes.
There's a balance to be sure, but before my last move I sold off some of my extra games I didn't think I'd play again and got a few thousand dollars. If those games were digital, they'd have been worth a grand total of $0. I'll never understand anyone's eagerness to buy digital games with no tangible value when there is a physical option.
I use digital because of gamesharing. However, it's really about price above anything

Same but I'm a year older :p

Ps4 sales are actually quite good now. Steam sales on the other hand have been shit for years now while they used to be amazing. No clue about xb1 sales.I'm not ready for it on consoles because the sales are still too infrequent and too poor quality. Also I don't trust console forward compatibility.
If PS5 & X2 fully support all PS4 & X1 games day 1, I will start considering a digital console library. (Sony will also have to change some of their license policies, and prices will have to improve)

Yeah true about the other sites but the nature of it all is so volatile. It could change quickly like we used to be able to get such better deals and cheaper games before valve changed the region stuff. You can usually get new games cheap used though fairly quickly but that is physical not digital.Yeah Steam's not great these days, but there are still killer deals on PC from other sites.
PS4 sales are getting better, but until I can buy AAA games day 1 for $40-ish on PSN... nah (I can do that on PC).

Don't the whole disc get installed on the HDD anyway and you are using the same amount of space as digital?Going digital would require me to get a larger hard drive for my PS4 & a Micro SD Card for my Switch, so I'm gonna stick with physical copies (whenever possible) for now. I honestly regret not waiting until this year to get Sonic Mania.
