I always wonder what the criteria for these lists are. Is it a combination of things? Impact on the industry? Overall quality? Personal enjoyment? It's hard to argue against these lists when I don't even know what they're looking for.

Still, more Dragoon/Legaia/Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

That's what I'm fucking talking about.

List isn't bad, but seems weird. I didn't care for the Tomb Raider games, but for those who played them, weren't people much happier with TR2 than the original? I wouldn't put Crash on my list either (not because it's bad, but just because the system doesn't lack for masterpiece level games).

I love ya'll but every list is either "generic" or "clickbait" here. You realize this right?

Anyone making a list like this can't win.

Just take it for what it is and enjoy the 90s nostalgia in the video.

MGS and RE2 are interchangeably my top 2.
Crash 2 is a good pick, CTR needs to be on there though.
Only played original GT but I'm sure 2 was an improvement on the best racing Sim.
Syphon Filter is definitely top 10 material.
Need For Speed 3 Hot Pursuit probably the most fun racing game at the time.
I wanted to like Tomb Raider but it was too hard for me at the time.
Best sports game should go to Shane Warne Cricket!

People saying the list is boring but you'd be hard pressed to not include 8 of those franchises in an ultimate top ten for the PS1.

I suppose the PS1 has more than enough hits to accommodate several alternate and more interesting looking top 10 lists, though.

These lists always remind that Vagrant Story and Chrono Cross need a modern port or remake.

Also I would swap R4 with Gran Turismo 2.
