Daytona USA 2 in a 2 or 4 player setup. It's criminal that no version of this has never come home.

I already own my number 1 being a Blast City.

Next would be an Egret 2 but those are wayyyyy out of my price range now. An original 3 monitor Dairus would be one I'd love as well.

simpsons arcade, im 20 and that was the only real arcade game they had at my "arcade" as a kid, im pretty sure homer and bart controls were broken so i could only play as marge and lisa but i fell in love with it and bought the garbage mobile remake and then luckily the delisted 360 port

House of the Dead 2 (assuming minimal effort needed to keep it pristine) or The Lost World

Virtual On. I actually managed to play this irl when it inexplicably (and briefly) turned up in the local flea-pit bowling alley back in the 90's

Sega Rally. No shadow of a doubt.

I play the Saturn version weekly (Sega Rally Championship Plus - it's the only version that supports the 3D controller) but it still pales in comparison to the arcade version with a proper wheel and pedal setup, high res and 60fps.

Ferrari f355 challenge.

Or Galaxy Force Super Deluxe! Yeah, this.

EDIT: Virtual On is a damn fine pick too

TMNT_1800x1800.png

Gotta be this one, the Raw Thrills beat 'em up based on the 2012 TMNT. Especially with no port in sight.

After that I would go with that big ass Jurassic Park shooter, and of course- Bubble Bobble

If space wasn't an issue, than 2 of these (Tokyo Wars), such a fun game with 4 people.

Realistically what I want is either of these which I would mod (I mean wiring, not gut for mane) to run any racing game pcb.

What I currently own (but sadly my unt is sitting in storage in need of a restoration) is a capcom impress candy cab. I've had it since around 2000.

Honestly I just want a Terminator 2 pinball machine. Favourite movie of all time. An old movie theatre near me had one and shut down but I couldn't convince the owner to sell it to me.

I'd choose Ridge Racer. There's so many other awesome arcade games I loved as a kid but I'll always want my own RR cab.

Hypothetically speaking, a definitive DDR machine, Initial D, Third Strike, House of the Dead 2 or a Time Crisis

Oooh, here are mine:

Capcom Bowling cabinet w/ the trackball
Silent Hill Lightgun game with the whole goofy atmospheric build-out
a Neo Geo MVS with Turf Masters, a Metal Slug game, and something else. dealer's choice.

TWILIGHT ZONE Pinball

I knew it's a Sega racing arcade machine I'd want, but couldn't decide which.

But then I remembered this 8 player sit down Virtua Racing monstrosity existed:

This is an impossible question, but I will note that the first thing that came to mind was Samba de Amigo.

Love Samba de Amigo but not sure I ever saw it in arcades, even at places that had Jambo! Safari, Crazy Taxi, Brave Firefighters, etc. And the (official) Dreamcast maracas are great so I don't think you lose anything in the home version? I see one source saying the home maracas are "ever-so-slightly less accurate": http://www.theghz.com/samba/samba/samba.html#behind

This might be cheating because it's four cabs of the same game, but it's this set up of Daytona USA:

I've been dreaming of owning a DDR Extreme or In the Groove 2 cabinet for years...and realistically may be able to do it for the first time in the fall, if everything aligns and I wind up finally getting my own place for the first time. I've been told by another Era user in another thread that maintenance on these machines is supposed to be a nightmare, though =/
