And all you just said are hypotheticals, pure conjecture based on nothing, really. Selecting a theme, setting folders and/or using Netflix are going to make the system less "snappy"? Why? The eShop already uses them to some extent, folders shouldn't be resource-consuming at all and YouTube and Hulu are already there, so video apps don't make the Switch any less snappy. As a consumer, I want all of this because it would improve my experience.I simply don't care for those features, that's all it is. I don't use folders on my PS4 either and I'm all digital there.
Usually once I finish a game I rarely go back to it.
In regard to the switch specifically, devs are already cutting features from games such as video recording and thats even when the games themselves arent that graphically intensive or impressive. I think some people may laugh at the resource cost of themes etc, I am not an expert either, but I think they are pushing the weak hardware to its limits already - adding more features might not come at the cost of making the OS less 'snappy' but at making the whole system perform even worse - where it's not exactly even great to begin with.
Ok so you are done with a game when you finish them, how would folders being added detract from your experience? Just refrain from using them, problem solved! Man, that was easy.
