If they need to tune the stream to prevent decompressor bottleneck, does it mean it wouldn't automatically do 22GB/s from any 4:1 compression data?
What I'm understanding here is that the stream must not become too processing intensive in a way that it can no longer pull 5.5GB/s continuously because the decoder is bogging down. So in those situations they remove some layers of compression to keep it at maximum bandwidth all the time.
