There are more older than 40 than there are younger than 25. Jesus. This thread really explains this website's political views.

Next month, I will be the same age as Kazuma Kiryu in Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Going to be disappointed if I'm not randomly accosted by punks calling me "ojiisan" when I travel to Japan next spring. :P

32. I tend to feel like a lot of people here are much younger than me.

What's with the "this poll explains a lot" posts?

I'm somewhere between 40 and 60. 40 is just like 30 except now I can't turn my head all the way to the right.

(38) This poll is misleading as the categories don't have the same ranges. 25-30 is probably the largest group, but since 30-39 is twice the range, it is impossible to tell.

Oh and what about 30? Existing in 2 different selections...

Still in my 30s for about 5 more hours so I happily checked the 30s box. Woohoo!

Woah if that poll is at all representative of the forum as a whole than over 60% of the users on here are 30 or older. Maybe I'm just coincidentally running into a lot of younger users but from my discussion with people and passive reading of other discussions that's certainly not the vibe I get.

Baby Boomers: Born 1946-1964 (54-72 years old)
Generation X: Born 1965-1980 (38-53 years old)
Millennials: Born 1981-1996 (22-37 years old)
Post-Millennials: Born 1997-Present (0-21 years old)

Obviously numbers don't line up, but if I had to guess a reasonable fit with a smooth-ish distribution, and 1 digit of precision, then:

8 Millenials (enjoy being old now) : 4 Generation X (represent) : 2 Post Millenials (Gen Y, whatever, pick a name kids) : 1 Boomers

Young Millennials don't even relate much with even the slightly older or the end of the spectrum. I had internet all my life while many didn't have it growing up.
