If it's the NES era for instance, it means hooking them up to a CRT TV, switching to channel 3, putting in a cartridge and playing the game with no save states.
Yeah, I'm 36 too and I'd have to say I'd stop at the NES. There are a few Atari 2600 I'd enjoy playing, but other than Yar's Revenge and like... Jungle Hunt I don't care to play games on that system, really.36 here. Started with Atari and I would never go back to it. NES and Tiger Electronic games are as far back as I'm willing to go.
This. I could go back in time to 16 bit in a whim, but 8 bits have always looked ugly to me, even as a 12 years old C64 owner
