This along with the handful of Persona and SMT covers kind of leaves me thinking that Japanese covers have stood up a lot better with this warping than the rest. Like, that Bloodstained cover isn't really all that odd or grotesque, to be completely honest.
I think I now understand what the OP meant in the "can video game graphics ever be better than real life" threadMario/Rabbids is a great one if you rotate it a bit.

Makes me want another Prince of Persia. I really loved the art direction in the cel shaded style one.
