Nevertheless, I've experienced much the same when taking out the "best" decks for a spin. If someone hits rank 1 Legend with a deck, then I'm sure to go 2-10 with it and get super unlucky.
Hearthpwn is awful for good decks. Best source for good decks is HSreplay premium ($4.99 a month) and checking the top decks for the rank you're going for.
HSreplay free is a good source, but decks vary wildly between ranks. Their top deck might be 60% between 15-10 and 49% between 5-legend.
I'm personally waiting for the Vicious Syndicate rankings.
Ouch. Scathing opinions. Had no idea it sucked. Figured all the good decks from elsewhere would wind up on it eventually. I'm not going to pay for a deck site. Any other alternatives?

I'm going to add this to the OP. I took these from my bookmarks and they are my go to resources when I sit down looking for a deck to play. In fact I have more decks to play than time until the heat death of the universe.

It just occurred to me this card was a thing in Hunter:
So I made a wild deck that has a tiny bit of draw and just goes for bombs, so far undefeated @ rank 5 but only played 2 games lol.

You pretty much just go face and pay attention to lethal, it's usually there pretty quickly with all the face bomb damage, feign death and then drop metaltooth.

I am trying out some minor variation atm. -2 slams +1 Dead mans hand +1 azalina
Not sure if azalina is worth it but DMH is. Most of the decks I have faced tonight were deathrattle rogues and I crushed every single one of them. Only lost to a mage who somehow drew an insane amount of burn after a strong start up (double pyro, double fireball).
So I am 9-1 atm. Games take long, I am also slow with it since I am learning CW.
I think Blizzard dropped the ball with Rush. It's a boring, weak mechanic that can never be competitive since against control it might as well not exist in your cards. Charge was good because it kept control decks in check imo.
Cube Rogue is fun! I was thinking about Necrium Blade myself too and the interactions are pretty powerful.

The thing about Rush is that...why have that when you can have a spell that does the same thing? If you really need removal, get a neutral charge or a spell that does the same thing.
i think Rush should be able to be overridden by Charge if you pay an extra 2 Mana when playingthe card. Give players options. It may mean a lot a messy interactions - but Hearthstotne already has lots of pop ups for Discover and other mechanics, so having a "Choose One" popup whenever you play a Rush minion is not out of the question.
Rush is fine imo. Very different mechanic compared to charge. They serve very different purposes. It's okay that rush is weak vs control, that's not why you run it. Where rush minions are great is a bit of flexibility, sometimes playing a vanilla 3/3 is fine. Sometimes you need to kill something for 3 damage and it survives. Sometimes you just need to trade 1:1. Flexibility is a strength in itself. Sorta like magnetize. You can also buff rush minions, whereas you couldn't do the same for spells. There are a couple of really good rush minions, like zilliax.

Have you faced any hunters?
I've been playing mostly bomb Hunter and bomb druid. I've beaten all the warriors I've come across with Hunter. And every game has been long as hell and gone to fatigue.

Not yet but I kinda have a hard time seeing CW lose to it. Who knows though. So much armor gain, I feel like the bombs would be weak at least for hunter. Druid might be harder due to the wide board buffs.

I would agree with the flexibility, but traditionally a "flexible" card in CCG's is something that is relevant in multiple situations and phases of the game. A vanilla 3/3 for 3 is not good in any state of the game, mediocre at best in turn 3. And it's funny you brought up magnetize, since you can do "charge damage" with magnetize which is probably why it's a viable mechanic (maybe).
Actually Keysers idea of a "kicker" cost is great. Now that would truly make the cards flexible, a cheapish rush minion for early board control (or sometimes just a vanilla dude) and a more expensive version of it that can hit face late game.
Zilliax is good because it's clearly undercosted for how much it does, not because it has rush.

Druid Mecha'thun is fucking unfun. That is, I'm playing it, and I feel that my opponents just have little fun? Like, there's very little other than getting an early zoo to properly defeat it. There is little to no interaction against it. The only way the opposing player can 'win' against it, is by causing you to mill your own mechathun.
This deck allows you to draw your whole deck, remove your opponents playing field, and all with no interaction. Its why it also uses biology project-it doesnt matter if you give your opponent 2 mana crystals, it doesn't matter because your whole deck is uninteractive.
I haven't gone against alot of people with this deck, but I imagine that it'll top the druid meta soon enough once people realize how-with this deck-only one person is playing the game, and that's the druid.

Sounds like a combo deck to me
I doubt it will be the top druid deck though. I've already beaten it numerous times with a bunch of different decks, but who knows. It's only the second day.

The deck seems similar to the wild aviana kun combos. They're really fun to pilot for me but on the opponent's end you either race them (which is hard) or just basically watch them play solatire which can be the issue with combo decks. Druid have so much draw and armor that it doesn't take them that long to go through a deck, and spreading plague is still absurdly good against the decks this type of thing should be weak to.

The Warlock C'tun is much more awkward to deal with, as even Demoic PRoject is not guaranteed to hit, as they can have a big full of other minions when they do the OTK
The Druid version of Mecha'tun can be countered with...
Marin is the more hilarious one.

I've just been playing casual to try out some new decks, but 75% of the people I play against are just playing the standard old meta decks without any new cards :(
Well guys I finally did it, don't play much arena anymore but my last run gave me an odd amount of gold so tonight decided to go again and got a killer draft with (2) Baron Geddons, (3) Nesting Rocs and (2) Giggling Inventors. But the real reason I think i went 12-0 was I had my only 1 drop minion in my opening hand either fresh or after mulligans 11x.
I wonder if that was me? lol. I just threw together a shitty all taunt deck cause I was getting annoyed by aggro and also frustrated that I can't find a Priest deck worth a shit. (FTP user so I'm kinda stuck with it. Don't have cards/dust to change classes or I would).
You know I started messing with a Storm Bringer deck with 2 Thunderheads, it is probably the most fun I've had in casual so far this expansion. There's always targets for it to hit and the results are hilarious. Just got lethal in my last game thanks to Whizbang. (Like the actual 4/5 Whizbang just to clarify)

I would be very surprised if some form of Shaman didn't shake out at least Tier 2, there's a lot of good stuff between Even and Token decks. Turn 5 I went from just a Thunderbringer and Fire Fly in play to a whole damn board evolved.
Not that big a deal actually as I only need a few more Druid cards to get them all from Boomsday--and I can get those more easily from the free packs or crafting dust.
But, yeah, Pauper HS in effect now.
I have 15k dust and all I want to do is craft golden Whizzbang ahhhhh
But I didn't manage to save this much by spending frivolously. Floop and Electra are the sensible things to craft now that I've got Boom, Soularium and Zilliax.

I'm honestly not sure Floop will be in. Druid really needs Oaken Summons and Floop can't be run with that. I suspect it won't be included in most lists.
