Seems about right (barring any delays). I'm always kind of shocked that people are shocked by the revelations of games being far off but I forget most people who play games don't follow the industry/know development.
Games have never taken longer to develop than they do now, sadly.
With smart delivery or whatever, it would be shitty for them to charge for a port.
Looks like the piece in your screenshot was a mistake, in the same document on page 76 it has the near $50mil marketing budget assigned to the 2019 financial yearNoticed something weird. In FY19, the fiscal year that RDR2 released, TTWO only spent $4m on marketing. But in the previous year, FY18, TTWO spent $49m on marketing.
If this is the case (and assuming I've not gotten the numbers ass-backwards), could GTAVI release in FY2025 instead? Looks like they ramp up marketing spend a year-ish earlier than the game's actual fiscal release period. The RDR2 delays could account for the disparity though.

GTA 6 is supposedly Rockstar's next major game, and RDR2 released in 2018.
Starfield is BGS next release, and it's not releasing for at least a full year probably. TES6 full production won't start until Starfield's release.
So yeah, GTA6, and probably by far.

I believe Rockstar has said they're changing their development practices following the fallout from RDR2.
And no, 5 years isn't a long time, but 10 years between entries sure is.
It's the date I've been expecting for a while. RDR2 took 5 years after GTAV, so figured GTAVI would take at least 5 after RDR2, if not more since the games keep getting bigger and more detailed.
Other comparable games sure will have a hard time if they've really been working on it since 2014 if the rumour is to be trusted.
