Daaaaaamn, this movie looks like it's going to be CRAZY.

As a Godzilla amateur, if this movie does really well to warrant a sequel, have they used up all of the major kaiju with this one?
It's already getting a sequel in 2020 where he fights King Kong.
Godzilla vs Kong is happening regardless of how this does.
And no, there are other kaiju they can use.

Sweet. Previous trailer was definitely better, but that's probably because of all the mystery. This movie is gonna be one hell of an experience!

There are a few fan favorites left, most of them one shots like Biollante or Destroyah, the only long running classic Kaiju that is on Ghidorah's level that is left would be Mechagodzilla but as Showa as the MonsterVerse is, it isn't nearly Showa enough to attempt something like Mechagodzilla, especially using his classic origin.

Presumably he gets big enough to fight one on one with Godzilla, and I'm guessing that they'll have to team up against a larger threat in that movie. Destroyah maybe?
They always have the Mechagodzilla card. Or some more out there fan favourites like Gigan.
But we don't know their plans after Godzilla vs Kong, if that's the big finale or what.
Have the filmmakers given any indication that they'll be digging into any of the old mythologies around the monsters or is this just gonna be all disaster?

I mean they can have Ghiforah flee the planet and come back with Gigan at the end of Godzilla vs King Kong
They have more, but they can also create a new monster as well (like the 2014 movie).
I mean, any giant monster movie is already throwing physics out the window for having creatures that huge react as fast as they do and exist in the first place. Plus having FLYING monsters that massive is yet another stretch of physics past the breaking point, unless the flying monsters have bones and skin as light as air while still being stronger than diamond.
The first Pacific Rim had a flying monster pick up the full weight of a Jaeger and fly it into the upper atmosphere if not fully into space which didn't make a single bit of scientific sense, but it sure looked cool!
Even knowing that giant monster movies are going to break a lot of physics, I do agree that Godzilla's acceleration does seem a little weird there. Hopefully the effects are polished a little more by the full release (not sure how far before a movies release effects are finalized).

….It was very weird
They only thing I dislike about these trailers is that they keep playing that scene with Millie trying to contact someone on the radio and then she freaks out over what she hears...but whatever it is, the actual sounds in the trailer don't seem all that scary or worthy of freaking out. So it's either missing major context or they're spoilering the actual sounds from the movie...which really just makes it annoying to watch the scene in the trailer because it makes no sense.
