They're actually the two best Westerns ever made. Eastwood fanboys need not @ me.
What happened to the second RDR2 video? Was it taken down because it broke embargo or something?
I mean they're Tarantino's worst two films, let alone the best of a great genre. They're actually the two best Westerns ever made. Eastwood fanboys need not @ me.
I mean, they'd crack my Top 15 list. Especially H8If eastwood was never born they still wouldn't crack a top 15 list

Terrible films.
15 Westerns better than Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight excluding ones involving Clint Eastwood:If eastwood was never born they still wouldn't crack a top 15 list
Brad has eaten raw horse.
the duality of Brad
Great:I mean I'm not a big Tarantino guy in the first place. Jackie Brown is really meandering and the Kill Bill's are too wacky for my taste. Fell asleep watching Pulp Fiction.
Great:
1. Jackie Brown
2. Pulp Ficton
3. Inglorious Basterds
4. Reservoir Dogs
Good:
5. Kill Bill 2
6. Kill Bill 1
7. Death Wish
Bad:
8. Hateful Eight
9. Django
15 Westerns better than Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight excluding ones involving Clint Eastwood:
Stagecoach
High Noon
The Naked Spur
My Darling Clementine
Rio Bravo
Red River
The Searchers
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
Shane
McCabe & Mrs. Miller
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Magnificent Seven
The Wild Bunch
Open Range
3:10 to Yuma
And that's off the top of my head.
Oh god, why is Rockstar so in love with "Tap X to sprint"? What a dumb fucking mechanic.
Well the good news is your film knowledge and appreciation is as good as Dan's.Well now that I know the objectively true rankings, I'll be sure to revise my half-serious shitpost from earlier.
Seriously though, I'd put Hateful and Django at the top of the list.

Why?I think there will be a neck breaking backlash to RDR2 after a few months once the hype has died down.
Oh really? Awesome
The constant oblivious questions from the guy on the left are annoying. (Do you have unlimited ammo, is this the only town, can you start a gang, oh this is a prequel?, etc)
He's so happy playing this game.I haven't seen Brad smile like this on video in a long, long, long time. RDR2 was worth it.
Late to the Tarantino discussion, but Hateful Eight gets too much crap. There's some overly violent scenes that border on cruel, but I really liked how everything mostly took place in one room and watching the mystery unfold. I also thought the performances were all really good, so I liked the talking scenes. It's not as actiony as his other stuff, but it was still great.
Also Pulp Fiction is overrated. 3 out of the 5 different sections are great, but for the most part Bruce Willis' entire section and the Jules and Mia Wallace sections were boring.
It's strangely difficult to find a list of their 10(?) Top 10s.
Yeah, I'm in the I enjoy most of his films camp. My favorite though is probably Reservoir Dogs or Jackie Brown(Tarantino thinks that those who love that film don't LOVE his movies). On the subject of Tarantino movies, I think they're mostly pretty good. Inglorious Bastards might be my favorite Tarantino film, but it had some of the most misleading marketing campaigns ever. They were building up Brad Pitt and the Bastards like they were the stars of the film, but really most of the film time was spent on the Jewish French Lady who worked at a theater and plotted revenge on the Nazis.
