I'm glad someone brought this up too. Working Designs were responsible for bringing some great Japanese games to the west.

Games like Lunar, Alundra, Silhouette Mirage, Arc the Lad, Elemental Gearbolt, etc.

It's this for me. I miss new Castlevania games, new Silent Hill games, new Suikoden games. I miss home BEMANI game releases.

I loved Metal Gear as well but I have felt that franchise should've ended SEVERAL entries prior to Phantom Pain.

Yeah, they both still exist but they're nothing like they were 20+ years ago.

Most of the others I can think of were absorbed into EA and then killed: Origin, Bullfrog, Westwood, Maxis when it could produce something other than The Sims, etc.
