B support to lower requirements, A support is automatic join the moment you ask them.Wow, New Game + seemingly makes it really easy to recruit someone -- you can spend renown on supports you've already done, and you only need B supports to recruit people, right?
whoops lmao, shouldn't have spent all that renown on their supports.B support to lower requirements, A support is automatic join the moment you ask them.
Okay, so no one can confirm that you can recruit her if you have NOT recruited her post-time skip then. :D
Edit: Don't look at me, I sure as hell won't recruit the chibi nuke any time I play this game.
Pretty sure nobody need to be recruited again if you recruit them pre-timeskip in that route
The interesting part is, that this would make Lysithea the only student you can recruit post-time skip then.

Yes I can confirm this, but I had him at B support.Alright, now we're getting somewhere with some info. :D
If someone can confirm that Lorenz joins you post-time skip on Blue Lions, even if you didn't recruit him?
What route did you do? I had him at B support with Byleth and couldn't recruit him post time skip in Golden Deer.I didnt recruit ashe (i did get him to b rank) and i was able to recruit him in post time skio

you have to get your brawling up to around C I think, there are like 3 brawling tutors, so if you do them every explore and use gauntlets in battle, you should get thereI'm trying to recruit Caspar on the Blue Lions route, since many here had strongly recommended it for story purposes. However, it seems I'm stuck with him at C-support because "some time must pass before the bond can deepen". I'm guessing that message is referring to the time skip? But how am I supposed to recruit him before then? Will I have a chance afterwards?
EDIT: I'm on month 1 now, so I don't think I'll have much time left to boost up Caspar's brawl requirements on my Byleth.
Ah okay, so it's possible to recruit him pre-skip then? I was concerned because it shows I have B-support conversation lined up with him, but it says time must pass before we can actually level up to B.you have to get your brawling up to around C I think, there are like 3 brawling tutors, so if you do them every explore and use gauntlets in battle, you should get there
Lysithea? I got her during the War phase of BE-E, and I barely talked to her pre-War. Don't remember who had the killing blow.
You still have to meet the student's stat/skill requirements, but at B rank they're substantially lowered.Ah okay, so it's possible to recruit him pre-skip then? Usually when I get another house member to B-support status, they'll join if I ask or invite themselves randomly during the week.
yeah you just have to come up and talk to him to recruit him during one of your explore sessions, you can only try it once per session though, so be aware of that.Ah okay, so it's possible to recruit him pre-skip then? For Caspar and Ferdinand, you have to level up your skills to recruit them, as their B supports are locked until after the time-skip.Ah okay, so it's possible to recruit him pre-skip then? Hm that's weird because I played Blue Lions and he was literally the second or third person I recruited. Hm. Brawling is pretty easy to level if you auto battle on the non point maps but other than that I'm not sure how I did that.I'm trying to recruit Caspar on the Blue Lions route, since many here had strongly recommended it for story purposes. You can recruit Lorenz post-timeskip on Silver Snow, so BL can probably do it too.Alright, now we're getting somewhere with some info. :D

It is not possible to recruit Caspar post-skip.Gotcha. I might've screwed this up then, lol. Gonna try everything I can to up Byleth's brawling skills in whatever remaining time I have left, since apparently B-support won't be attainable until after skip.
It was hinted in this thread that Caspar has some Blue Lion story implications, so it was recommended that I recruit him. I just assumed all recruitment must be done before the skip though. Without being too spoilery, can anyone tell me whether it'd be possible to recruit Caspar post-skip, and if so, will that be in time to see his Blue Lion's story beats?
I need some advise for Ch.18 To the end of a Dream (Black Eagles route/hard) because I feel like screaming in to a pillow.
My safest tactic is to take the left lane past Annette if I want nobody to die before I actually get to the The immaculate One, I do fine up until I get to the steps to the left of her, she smokes my characters the moment I am 4 squares away from her and I can only get one gambit in on with either Byleth or Edelgard because one of them is getting insta smoked, if it isn't for her it's from the army of pegasus knights swarming me.
Second is her Dragon-scale wall barrier, the moment I finally destroy her armor, it's just for one turn and everyone's pretty much already dead at that point.
What's the best way to get to her and to actually get break her armor because the gambits don't seem to work mostly and she shoots lasers at me before I can physically harm her.
I've been at this battle for like 3 days now.
Woah, hold up, on the GD/BL routes you need to re-recruit everyone post timeskip? I was under the impression they'd just rejoin automatically after a chapter or two.
No, mostly everyone rejoins. It's just one person that you need to re-recruit for Golden Deer.Woah, hold up, on the GD/BL routes you need to re-recruit everyone post timeskip? I was under the impression they'd just rejoin automatically after a chapter or two.
You really wanna deal with the pegasus knight reinforcements before you approach the boss. I split my units to middle right/right and just largely ignored the left side. This way I was able to kill the reinforcements coming from the right in one turn as well as letting all the ones in the bottom come near me before I blew them up. A tip regarding approaching the boss:
Pegasus/Wyvern/Cavs should have no problem approaching Rhea from outside her attack zone in one turn. If Byleth and Edelgard are the only ones who can stand in her attack zone for a turn without dying, have both of them as well as any cav units/fliers approach after so they all reach her at the same time. Gambits absolutely work, especially if you use them with other allies around her as it increases accuracy/damage. Edelgard and anyone with a large damage radius for gambits like mages and archers should be able to make quick work of her entire zone before she gets another turn. Reminder that standing in the "green" squares that increase experience when you're connected online give exp as well as restoring gambit uses if you feel yourself running low.
you actually do have to re-recruit one person on BLNah, your impression is actually correct for BL. You don't need to re-recruit anyone.

I have Edel and Byleth both on Blaze Gambits but it takes two of those and one other gambit to finally break its armor it seemed like, and my only cav is Ferdinantd but hasn't got anything that deals any significant damage to her sadly. For some reason when I gambit it only gets its attention and then the next turn she toasts the entire field where I stand.
It's weird too because the first or second time I fought her I got her down to her last health bar but now I can only get one red gem of her.
Guys, what do i miss if i dont do any of the activities of the monastery? I just want to play battle missions, do some support conversations and may ne know more about the lore/story...
The biggest miss is the character recruitment or there is more? I should focus on upgrading byleth to recruit the students i like ? I find annex activities boring as f****
