This is by no means any sort of staff communication, but my personal two cents on the matter is that it's generally best to wait long enough to examine overall audience reception to a piece of media first rather than rolling strictly on professional reviewer aggregates and making claims on those alone. We can safely say that many critics enjoy FFVII Remake, which is great! Let's also see where the chips fall in terms of Era's community, Reddit's community, so on, and so forth.
And it shouldn't have to be said, but ultimately what ought to matter first and foremost -- by a wide margin, methinks? -- is whether or not you enjoy it! There are films in the fifties on Metacritic that I really dig. Films that aren't even all that well-received in my social circles. IDGAF. :P
