Exactly! The other weird thing to note here is that the Final Fantasy VII Remake's delayed date is on Good Friday, which seems like an odd day to release a game🤔
Dammit I didn't think of that. The mail probably won't even be running that day then, right? RIP my Amazon order.
Go digital and save yourself all this headacheERM hold up a fast second.
Now it comes out on a good friday, which is a bank holiday where I'm from and as far as i know mail delivery does not operate on those days. It's also easter holiday weekend so it looks like the game won't even get delivered until the tuesday after the friday at the minimum?

I would expect RE3 to do RE2 number, regardless of other game influence.
You are right but now i would like to see it in March :^( worried they will delay it insteadI would expect RE3 to do RE2 number, regardless of other game influence.
Part 1 of a game (a great game!)... or full 60 to 100 hour first person RPG from the people that made the witcher? Hmmmm, what do you think people are going to choose with their money if they can only buy one.
But as its a bank holiday, the post will need to deliver it the Thursday, as they dont work on bank holidays.Considering this delay puts it at the beginning of a four-day public holiday in my country, this is actually not bad news for me at all.
The Cyberpunk genre has a reputation for being super buggy at launch??A remake of one of the most beloved games of all-time or a new IP in a genre that has a reputation for being super buggy at launch. Hmmmm, what do you think people are going to choose with their money if they can only buy one.
CDPR have shown they will release a game in a horribly buggy state, so yeah, you're taking a risk getting this on day one anyway.
I completely disagree. The FF7 Remake has 15M views on YT, and that's the most viewed video. The first Cyberpunk 2077 trailer has 18M views. The 50 min gameplay reveal also has 18M views. The hype around it is bonkers. I live in suburban India, where people don't really follow games, and even here I see youngsters hyped for it.I was at the Sony conference at E3 when they announced FF7R and the audience response when people started figuring out what they were watching was something to behold. Demand for a FF7 remake has been building for decades.
Something also to consider is that FF has one of the most balanced male/female splits of any AAA franchise out there. On the other hand, Cyberpunk is almost guaranteed to have a primarily male fanbase due to its subgenre & the poor depiction of women in the Witcher series.
Does that account for people like me that own a PS4 but will choose to play Cyberpunk on PC?Any sales comparisons would be made across the same platform (PS4 in this case). Otherwise, there's no point in comparing the sales of a multiplatform game with an exclusive.
CD Projekt Red needs to stand firm with their announced date. Who gives a shit what games are coming for the crown - they know they've got the biggest hit of the year, so they should stay where they are because that would truly show that they are indeed rebels and they fear no one🤘🏻

Not a problem. Wasn't gonna pick up FFVII anyway since it's not coming to PC.
Umm... Final Fantasy XV, mate?
But it comes out in april.I'm kinda hoping cyberpunk gets delayed at least 2 months... there's just too many games in march now.
The thinly veiled platform warring under the guise of FF7 v CP2077 will be a sight to behold come launch (even though both games will end up on all platforms lol).
Sounds blasphemous, but I agree. A game like that can always use some more time in the oven anyways AND it would give us all some breathing room.I'm kinda hoping cyberpunk gets delayed at least 2 months... there's just too many games in march now.

So either its a day earlier for the UK or later.
