Doubt EA will want them back, if they do it will be for much less than they used to pay FIFA for the license.
Still in development, they are pointing to a Q3-Q4 release. They have been putting out Developer videos every few months, think they said they are going to release a full match video this month.

Well that was pretty much the only thing FIFA had going for it compared with ISS/PES.
The way he says "the best egame for any girl or boy" gives me the impression that he's out of touch and thinks videogames are for children.
Someone can correct me, but I feel like FIFA was way behind Winning Eleven/Pro Evo until they started to copy many of its best features.
It still won on sales, but the actual gameplay was kind of shit in comparison until they pulled the typical EA move of copying and spending their competition out of the market.
I like that this is not even the most stupid thing Infantino has said this week. Dude has a very special talent for giving the most insane declarations imaginable. It's impressive really.

I can only think of Konami. Otherwise, 25 seems like a quick turnaround for a brand new built from scratch football game.
