Not trying to speak of mod actions after the event but it seems like every time WFV posts nowadays, it causes the thread to go to shit while sanity tries to prevail over nonsense. They have always been a passionate poster but recently it's like they've went off the deep end which is a shame.

Fan fiction is one thing, blatant misinformation against teams is another. Why Pirelli, an Italian company, would favour Mercedes, a German one, over Ferrari, an Italian one is beyond me!

These tyres are only being used in tracks with new surfaces anyway, so not like previous changes to tyres mid season and were devised because all of the teams noted that tyre wear in testing was not as expected.

Anyway, Barcelona has rare overtaking but the first lap is crucial. The Ferrari can normally start well, so that could change things. Watch for Alonso too. This year he has fought up a bit in lap 1 and if he repeats his tricks at turn one that he specialises in here, he could be a spoiler for RBR especially.

Edit: Williams are so bad.

I feel for those struggling with streaming. I would not have access to this race but I'm switching to Sky and the PC spp let's me stream despite not having the service until June, yey.

Pirelli is not " italian" anymore. It's owned by a Chinese company.

These new tyres are used because of blistering. The problem is that some team found a solution for this issue and others didn't. Pirelli should have picked Soft Medium and Hard instead of SS Soft and Medium. Problem solved.

Slovenia
80% chance for showers during the race window, at least that was morning prediction

Over 15 mm of rain fell overnight, so track will be green as a pasture

Awesome video showing the real time gains and loses of Hamilton and Bottas Q3 laps:

Really interesting to see where each driver gained and lost time within such fine margins.

Hamilton could have easily gone faster if he didn't wait so long to accelerate for the start/finish line. How can he not see that? I've noticed it on other tracks too, he should be driving the last 3 corners of his out lap like it's a timed lap.

Take the life out of the tyre at the end of your out lap or have them there for the whole timed lap. They won't do both.

He's picked up a few poles now in his fledgling career.

Gosh i hate the new schedule for Grand Prix, it messes up my afternoons >.<
That's very selfish of me, i know, but still.

Anyway... really ? Rain is coming ? That will mean another random race, and the onboard cameras of F1TV won't be of much use xD

I don't see it happening. He wears stupid clothes and I don't like his hair. Will never make it.

you forgot the 3 kilograms of gold chains, that he does not respect etiquette for tennis, and the fact he prefers to be with popstars and models instead of giving a motivational speech to racing drivers who are about to enter their first monoplace championship. xD
He sure has the talent and is an exceptional racing driver, plus you can tell he has genuine emotions under the coat of stupid glitter (like how he went rampage in his hotel room after a disastrous bakou, or when he almost cried when presented with what he thought was a real Senna helmet -fabricated moment by FOM, but still a genuine reaction-) . I am certain with a different personal path he could have been a Jim Clark, a true model to live by. But,nope, he prefers to stand out with looks that make the talks... perhaps later, but it's already late.

The statement from F1 about F1 TV is pretty weak.
The refund is the bare minimum what they can do, and if the service is running any less than perfect in Monaco I will be quite angry.

The 24h Nürburgring Nordschleife race had to be red-flagged due to rain and fog two-ish hours ago but it's about to be restarted. Should be a fun 90 minutes sprint:

I'm a little iffy with tire strategy. What's better for Alonso now? He looks to be in a great position

the 1 hr later start kills me here in Australia, it means a 1am finish!
