Not the same but it's not intended to be. Hopefully mods are fine with the new Media Create site (whenever it happens) to shared here.

Surprised Bang Dream has sold out so well when it's just a full priced version of a gacha game that still has gacha in it (though no microtransactions).

Yeah I forgot about the numbers after all that stuff. Great to see some fresh numbers. Now where are my graphs.

Wario Ware is digital heavy imo. It's doing decent numbers. I think it will have decent legs and reach 500k. Arise is doing decent numbers but dissapointing in the grand scheme of things. Playstation and third parties have lost it's power over Japan.

It really does bring up the question whether Metroid Dread will bump the regional sales in Japan more so than we expect. I'll be keenly watching this unfold in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Because after 2 weeks, and the first sale is posted, the most important numbers coming in is the 3rd week from now.

Arise hold is better than I thought it would be. It's still showing the decline that started post Xillia, but at least it is a small bleed. What do we think digital sales for Japan look like?

To be clear, after someone linked the Gematsu article, I just grabbed the info from there. It didn't take long at all, there just has to be someone to do it.

I don't think anyone can replace Chris who was doing much more than that, but since this much information is available and the interest had been expressed, I thought posting a thread was appopriate.

Arise drop is okay, could be worse considering the type of game it is.

Are they phasing out the older Switch models in favor of keeping the OLED version when it's out?

BOTW and Splatoon 2 recently announced physical packs of the base game + DLC on the Nintendo Direct yesterday. That will add to overall sales.

Two weeks of Arise sales: 184,444(PS4) + 56,913(PS5) = 241,357
Two weeks of Berseria sales: 90,704(PS3) + 186,869(PS4) = 277,573

So, yeah, first two weeks sales of the PS4 version of both games are almost the same. It is the additional sales from the other platform that dropped. Of course, this is just physical sales.
