Yeah, SNL already has a live audience. Most shows here in Germany are doing it too. It's not really a controversial move at this point.

I mean, there is a live audience at football games, baseball games, etc. Ellen has her issues regardless of this choice, but I think this is more a failure of the system than a failure solely on her (though, yes, she's also to blame).
