The TLOU2 delay got me thinking that this the prime time for digital to become the standard of game ownership. While I understand that many people in this forum are die hard physical owners. There no getting around the fact that releasing games digitally right now is the best and safest option to consumers and corporations.
Heck I think that if the the TLOU2 released digitally it would still sell several million at least and won't be affected that much from lack of retail sales. Considering that Playstations main revenue source is now more or less coming from digital distribution it makes sense for PlayStation to capitalise on this even more. The big 3 are trying to push digital and wean off the reliance of retailers.
