look at the numpad on your keyboard for numerical values which are direction inputs, the letters are attack buttons so 2H is down Heavy Attack and 5H is Neutral Heavy Attack
Or maybe they knew orange means a really good player and they didnt want to be beaten by one character haha.I already know what these are but it is incredibly dumb that this isn't obvious in-game. I wonder how many people declined me because they thought orange was a bad connection or a ragequitter or something.
Dang it. I checked the "Can I Run It" site to see if my laptop could even run this thing and I can't even do recommended settings. My video card is not strong enough. I have a GeForce GTX 960M. Everything else passes spectacularly though. I have double the required RAM and double the Dedicated Video RAM requirement.
Shoot.
Those minimum requirements are exagerated I think. I tested this game on my old PC (7 years old with a radeon HD6790) and it could still run everything at high at 1080p and 60fps. My new PC isn't even stressed at all while playing this on max at 1440p. You could always buy from steam and do a refund if it doesn't run well.Dang it. That site tells me I don't meet the requirements for plenty of games I can run perfectly on max settings.Dang it. No wonder people keep saying this arc is torture. It's like my two LEAST favorite fighting game character archetypes stuck together in a party.
100% best feeling LOL. Nothing beats getting tagged in the air only for them to get hit by the Purple Comet and then you convert back to a knockdown or something. God bless this character. People are sleeping on him.
Been trying to use the 6M overhead in those situations in a few matches now and its working very well. Thanks a lot!I'd avoid doing any H moves to SD. There's a gap, so you can be deflected or countered.
If you have someone blocking, try mixing things up. For universal tools, you do have the universal overhead (6M) and Dragon Rush (LM) to help open people up. Beyond that, you can make use of good offensive assist (like Vegeta) and air dash normals to keep the pressure on. Also make use of your own character's tools to figure things out, like any command grabs, alternate lows/overheads, or safe on block special moves. It really depends on your team and resources ultimately.
I just got a title that said the Return of Cooler... I swear we didn't need to datamine this it was under our noses the whole time (I also got one that says Ultimate Fusion which I think you know who that's referring to).
I think there's a Tournament of Power related title too though, and those characters aren't gonna be dlc.
Be careful. It's the most unreal thing in the game
but throwing in Trunks/Beerus' command grab super during blockstrings to catch shook people is the most satisfying thing ever
Can you hit father son kamehameha and destructo disc off a mid screen air combo? Like, after the hit and you land. Seems impossible to me unless I'm doing something wrong.
You want hard knockdown, where your opponent slides on the ground a bit before they can get up.Can you hit father son kamehameha and destructo disc off a mid screen air combo? Like, after the hit and you land. Seems impossible to me unless I'm doing something wrong.
The overall Idea is that you slam them into the ground with a heavy in the air. They will start sliding on the ground. As soon as you land you use the super. Pretty much any ranged super will hit. You just need to make sure they are sliding
Yeah that's what I've been doing, and for ginyu's level 1/gotenks level 3/krillins level 3/MB's level 1 I hit with no probelms. It's those 2 specials that If I do midscreen I can't seem to get them to connect. You want hard knockdown, where your opponent slides on the ground a bit before they can get up.
There are several ways to get this. If you launch with 2H, then most characters will get hard knockdown with their j.H, and the same can be done if you are able to combo into and from most character's j.2H. There are exceptions, and also some specials might give hard knockdown too. For Krillin and Gohan, the above works.
It's possible, but the timing is tight.Yeah that's what I've been doing, and for ginyu's level 1/gotenks level 3/krillins level 3/MB's level 1 I hit with no probelms. It's those 2 specials that If I do midscreen I can't seem to get them to connect.
i was asked if frieza's disc loop was possible with A21's assist. it is.
timing is a massive pain in the dick though.
If they're jumping at you, just 2H. It beats jump-ins.The problem is when they super dash to make their 5H or 2H safe. I feel like the safest thing to do is just block or deflect. It's hard to counterattack. I gotta get into the habit of blocking or deflecting so I can stop getting hit trying to punish it.
That aside, what do I do against players who jump a lot? I was fighting a friend and won almost all games save two and I noticed he jumped A LOT. It was hard to catch him with any hits because he'd jump away. He would block when jumping too so super dashes only worked sometimes. I was stumped. I eventually won by finally landing a few bits that led to big combos but the match lasted forever because of all the jumping. I've always had trouble fighting people who jump a lot in fighting games.
Doing Recoome's Beam and then Vanish is fantastic. I get so many combos off that. From what I've played with him so far on ranked, Guldo's projectile and Recoome's beam catches lots of people. :3
I am running the game at high with a gtx 970m at 60 no problem. You should be fineDang it. You're missing free damage on your Tien BnB. During your air combo, instead of ending with L,M,H to smash them, do, L,M,d+H, 236M.
this blew my mind, gunna have to lab more tien later tonight after im done some hw
I'm at an orange square and now no one wants to accept player matches :/
namco bandai probably wanted it to emulate xenoverseWhy couldn't we have a simple select system like old Sf4? Just go in, search, pick someone. God.
i can test later
That's some awesome attention to detail.Huh, this is pretty cool. Never noticed it before, but deflecting regular ki blasts makes them arc into the background. Like they do in the show.
They also should have done the Capcom thing and allowed for some characters to be set to Japanese voices, and others set to English.
Hope a patch allows this in the future.
When Sumichu (the associate brand manager for Bamco) tweeted about taking feedback and giving it to the team, I responded to her tweet asking for this. I also saw some others do the same. Cross your fingers.
Great. I think I want Teen Gohan on Japanese instead, maybe Frieza too, not sure. I really liked Genkai Frieza, but that voice isn't in the game. Have to see how the Japanese one sounds first. When Sumichu (the associate brand manager for Bamco) tweeted about taking feedback and giving it to the team, I responded to her tweet asking for this. No it won't. The second d+H in the air still puts them in enough hitstun for the 236M to hit. I use this in my B&B all the time.
If it whiffs, then you aren't doing it fast enough.
There's some really great Tien tech coming out lately. Chris G is using him too and saw some new stuff. I think you're gonna see a lot more players use him now.
