This is not surprising at all.

Cheating on a College Entrance Test
As a high school student in Queens, Ms. Trump writes, Donald Trump paid someone to take a precollegiate test, the SAT, on his behalf. The high score the proxy earned for him, Ms. Trump adds, helped the young Mr. Trump to later gain admittance as an undergraduate to the University of Pennsylvania's prestigious Wharton business school.
Mr. Trump has often boasted about attending Wharton, which he has referred to as "the best school in the world" and "super genius stuff."

The president’s niece, Mary L. Trump, is the first to break ranks with the family and release a tell-all memoir.

I think we all assumed this. Presumably even if a legal case could have been made for fraud though, the satute of limitations has long expired?

This is just like the opening of that Sopranos episode where Christopher pays someone to take his SAT

He's obviously stupid. We've seen his dribble for close to four years. His former employees and staff have all said the man is beyond dumb. He never reads. He watches hours of TV, not just TV but propaganda Fox News garbage. He doesn't understand nuance, scientific inquiry, foreign relations, or history. He's bankrupted casinos-which are sure bet businesses.

Rich entitled narcissist with severe daddy issues breezes through life and thinks he knows everything about everything.

Yeah, this isn't a hard story to tell.

There's a bunch of revelations that dropped today between NYT and Washington Post.

Trump opting to see a movie instead of seeing his brother on his death bed.

Trump commenting on the size of his niece's breasts at a family get-together when she was 29 (a step up for him, seeing as she was an adult, I suppose).

Trump only ever showing up at churches when there's cameras.

None of this is surprising to people who are paying attention at all.

I genuinely would not have expected anything else from Donald Trump. This man has not in his entire life done one single honest thing ever.

I was wondering how a man who is, by all accounts, functionally illiterate, could even pass his SATs.

This explains a lot.

I'm like 90%+ sure he either cheated once in college as well, or his Dad's influence helped him get through it with a degree.

Reminder, this would be a career-ending scandal for a normal person

For a Democrat. Republicans can get away with almost anything these days. Not quite at Trump's level, but still a lot.

This isn't much of a story, in this time. Anyone with a brain can see how likely it is. Trump supporters couldn't care less.

Did this motherfucker ever do a single good thing, born from integrity, in his entire life?
