Yeah probably, at least for the next 5 years or so. I work at a non-profit, and our funding is on the decline currently to be honest, but it's not in a shits-hittin'-the-fan place quite yet. And even if it does get there, I really doubt they would go after my position until the end-of-times, as I pretty much have the sole mastery of our website and its front-end development myself. If I go, their web presence will screech to a halt. There's also zero chance they can replace me with someone at my skill level below what I'm getting paid, as I'm already taking a pretty big salary hit compared to my skill level and the job market in this area, but I enjoy the people, the work-life balance, and I've been here long enough that my benefits are both sweet and flexible, so I'm happy for now even if I could be getting paid like 10-15% more in the private sector
