Honesty, I haven't. Sounds so unintuitive compared to a smart device or pc. But after thinking about it, it's actually smart from a malware standpoint.

I remember my friends and I pulling up porn on the ol' Dreamcast back in 99. That console was the best.
I think my Dreamcast was the first device with internet access in our house that was permanently set up in my room....and I'll just say I took advantage of it.

Honestly, the majority of the times I use the PS4 browser is testing browser emulators after firmware updates. I got DOSBox working at one frame per 30 seconds (that's not backwards), but that's about it. Sometimes it's handy for browsing online stores with my wife, but we could probably get better results screen casting from her laptop now. Our main smart TV is a TCL 6 series, so it doesn't have a browser either.
The sad thing is this probably won't do jack for their system security since big third-party games, especially f2p ones, are still probably going to have login pages, so all the hackers have to do is set up a proxy first.
The biggest disappointment with the PS4 browser is Sony refused to support any audio codecs, so it wouldn't work with Google Music or any other music streaming service.

I thought I did too, but the faq says there isn't a standalone one. If there are browser settings, it's probably for the one games use for third-party account logins.
No but I bought my PS4 off a friend and he forgot to clear his browser first, opened it up and BAM porn right in my face lmao
I don't think I have ever even opened a web browser on a console before, except maybe the Dreamcast lol.

mostly i use a tablet because it is convenient for use while in a bed. the tv screen is nice and big but the couch is just not the most conformable place to be.
that said, i do use my ps4 for VR porn. i was actually hoping for a better experience on ps5 where porn could be directly streamed from ps5's web browser instead of this download BS we i have to do know. ..but this dashes my hopes. it's pretty annoying really, everyone knows that gamers are not just kids anymore. we're also adults with adult needs to have a very immersive experience F'ing a pornstar.
