Nah, I played it for like 30 hours and except some occasional hints here and there there wasn't much of a narrative that could have delivered the story in a way I like. Sekiro was way better in that regard.

Bloodborne's story is the best of any From game I played. It isn't told to the player at all though. Still incredible and awe inspiring.
The best thing about it being that they took lovecraft and made something wholely unique out of it rather than just aping standard lovecraft tropes, that was made even more evident with the two recent games Call of Cthulu and Sinking City basically just aping the aesthetic and just playing out the tropes plainly. It's extremely clear how successful Fromsoft was in taking lovecraft and doing something *new*.
