IF YOU HAVE AN OLD AND OR WEAKER CPU AND ARE EXPERIENCING SLOWDOWN, DOWNLOAD THE DENUVO FREE EXE
Seriously. The difference is like night and day.
Damn. :(
Yay :DI just downloaded the .exe from Steam. Haven't had a chance to test it, but it was still there as of a few minutes ago.
Capcom themselves release a denuvo free exe??? Hah.
By the time I get home it'll likely be gone :(
Game doen't start for me, it seems to be in a loop switching resolutions (i can see the afterburner stats getting bigger/smaller), when it arrives at the capcom logo the game hangs.
i5 3570K
8GB DDR3
GTX 970 with latest drivers
That's weird, i used afterburner/rtss with RE2 with no problems since day1.RE2 crashed when I tried running with Afterburner. Close all FPS-counting software then try again.
Just like with any other game. Eliminates tearing while keeping the V-Sync induced latency away.
Is there any risk that i could get in trouble on steam if i do this modification?IF YOU HAVE AN OLD AND OR WEAKER CPU AND ARE EXPERIENCING SLOWDOWNS, DOWNLOAD THE DENUVO FREE .EXE

you will when I report you to the FBIIs there any risk that i could get in trouble on steam if i do this modification?
I too have a purple tint on my screen. Whatd you change the resolution to? I really dont want to have to play in 1080p or else I wouldve just bought a console. Every game lately has had this issue like Anthem and The division 2
if rtss doesn't work reboot your pc, it does that sometimes. What can I use to display fps? Steam doesn't work, Afterburner worked when I first tried, but now it doesn't all of a sudden...?!
Everything looks and run amazing at 4k on my 1080ti.
Quick question. Is there something up with DOF? In some cutscenes stuff that isn't in frame and the focus can end up looking really low res/jaggy. Noticed it in a handful of parts for cutscenes. Most notably when the shot is showing the demon reflected in Dante's eye at the very start if the game.
Noice
open up RTSS and make sure "show on screen display" is set to on. it likes to turn itself off sometimes, in my experience. What can I use to display fps? Steam doesn't work, Afterburner worked when I first tried, but now it doesn't all of a sudden...?!
Any 980ti or 1070 folks playing at 1440p?
I'm hoping I can just max it out on my 980ti and not have to worry about any dips under 60. Paired with an i7 4790.
I'm playing at 4k with 70% resolution scaling (I'm pretty sure that's higher than 1440p) on a 1070 with max settings and it never drops below 60 FPS.
This engine is a fucking miracle.
Im playing this in 1080p/60fps with minor dips to 50-55fps with everything on high.
My specs:
I3 6100
GTX 1050 2GB
8GB DDR4 2100
What magic is this?
Not magic really. Just a clever use of performance saving techniques across the board.
For example, screen-space reflections are completely absent during gameplay, instead replaced with cubemaps. All post-processing buffers are lower than native resolution by default even on highest settings. Plus many post-rocessing effects, that are present in cutscenes, are turned off during gameplay.
That saves quite a bit of performance.
I get what you mean, but I wish they threw a bit more effort into giving more quality options for those with higher end GPUs.Im not complaining at all! It still blows my mind how optimized some games can get. Nobody would need a 2000gtx whatever they are called if every game would be so well optimized.
