Amazing how many people were calling this a flop until just recently.Pokémon is going to conquer movies like they've conquered everything else.
It's based on a spin off game that used Mewtwo sightings as its launch marketing.
Blastoise vs Gengar looks dope as hell!
I imagine a lot of people going to see this movie, if not the majority of them, haven't played the game.
That's the scene that was the most interesting...
What does this mean??? But I love the latter gens references.
you can't hide your mistakes from me
Oh, makes sense! Looks good too.
Anybody else didn't like it?
First trailer was really good though...
This trailer sadly not so.. Pikachu hitting the guy with his tail like 3 times, first time wasn't even funny.
I get that this is aimed at a very young age group but I don't think they will pull of something like Paddington.
I expected a little bit more, story looks pretty generic after this trailer.
The Shrek 2 song?
More motherfuckers need to play Saints Row The Third.
The song was originally written for use in the movie Footloose (1984).
I'm not really sure why folks would be surprised and/or spoiled by Mewtwo when he's such an important figure in the source material.
Whats this!?! Gen 4!?!?
How on earth did this make it past Game Freak?!?!/s
lol, that's the exact plot of Zootopia.Haven't beaten the Detective Pikachu game yet but from what I recall the plot there involved Pokemon going feral after being given a mysterious substance called "R", so I assume that's what's going on here too.
They are from the same year tho
Who has the crown now? The original Pokemon movie may or may not count depending on who you ask, and the other ones that come to mind like Tomb Radar or Resident Evil aren't exactly contenders.Dude this could take the crown for best video game movie
Like hot damn only took us 30 years

Not even the best Pokemon movie which is probably the third one, and which is still just decent (though for a video game movie, that's pretty good lol)Who has the crown now? Did it get a theatrical release? I just remember the first one in theaters. Not even the best Pokemon movie which is probably the third one, and which is still just decent (though for a video game movie, that's pretty good lol)
