Spot on haha.I guess there is always a chance that Sony went up there and super secretly announced TLOU2, Death Standing, and GoT release dates to an entire room full of people and somehow expected not a single one of them to leak that info and the people I know there didnt tell me about it. But that seems kinda far fetched tbh lol
Small video of the montage they did at this event, looks like rehash of old footage.
Edit: No idea who this guy is but he claims the event focused on TLOU2 and it's slated for 25/10/19.
but isnt destination intended as an event to inform retailers of the games that are planned to release in the coming year and make shipping deals? why show games that are a few years out? They always show everything that has been announced at DPS regardless of pending release date.
Works for an eSports organization in the middle east. Unless they bother to show a screenshot of that release date I'm not taking it at true value.Edit: No idea who this guy is but he claims the event focused on TLOU2 and it's slated for 25/10/19.

okay then, thanks for explaining. The stage show the first day is just a hype show. They show the same videos and games that are already public. Everything about unannounced games is done in the casitas or meeting rooms, not in the theater show on day 1.

I mean this was an event for retailers for the next year, so if they are not planning to release all them games before next February why would they show the retailers ?. They would show them next year when the games are actually coming out.
Is there anyone from the studios there? That's what I'm curious about tbh
I mean, I'm sure they're going to show new stuff to certain people but most likely it won't leak out.
Maybe update the OP, since people are still lazily coming in and commenting without reading the follow-ups.
You had me at Inside BaseballSometimes studio folk attend if a game will be presented behind closed doors. Overwhelming majority is business people doing business people things. It's a great event, but in a way inside baseball kind of way.

Except Playstation isn't at E3. They will probably just do blog posts to give us new info. I think we will get a blog post for one of the big three in May that will have a release date and new trailer. So it was a whole lot of nothing huh? Sucks we have to wait until E3 to get all those sweet deets.
I fuckin' knew it, I was always team 2019 for Death Stranding.
We still do not know about the release windows of the first three, but the fact they were shown in there, likely means that Sony is aiming to launch all 3 before the end of Q1 2020.
Update:
Well I am sure we will get one more this year other than Days Gone. I think Ghosts is close to done. However it could easily be a Q1 2020 release with Last of Us ending the year. Death Stranding is still far away. PS5/PS4 duo release.
Not when each will be available on PS4 day 1.
We know for certain this year we have MLB, Days Gone, Concrete Genie, and Dreams. I think we'll also get one of the remaining big 3.

Benji MatPiscatella Thank you both so much for weighing in and your patience, I really appreciate the insight.
I'm getting a pretty clear flavour on the shape of the event (also thank you Nightengale ) but one thing I'm not clear on is whether new footage (gameplay or cinematic) is shown to that audience? Or would that all be done in private, arranged sessions (hotel suites/meeting rooms) if at all?
