I've been on a pretty big Dean Blunt trip lately. Black Metal is a sick album, as is his free mixtape that he just dropped last week.

Best Black Sabbath cover ever

The Cure have albums full of depressed, bleak fucking songs. "The Same Deep Water as You" just really hits me.

Much like The Cure, Katatonia have a full body of work dedicated to being bleak, miserable and depressed. Jonas' vocals on "Saw You Drown" work for me. He's nowhere nearly as good of a singer here as he'd become later, but he just captures misery so perfectly.
