Oh my god. Biden sounds so bad. He sounds mentally old :-/ I hope he's okay but jesus he does not need to be the president.

So what's polling like in Nevada. I've heard all about SC, but almost nothing about there?
Late to this, but most firms kinda don't bother polling Nevada. Huge Spanish-speaking only population plus Caucus madness plus weird sorta machine politics means polls have been wrong so hard and so often it's not worth the money for the public firms. Campaigns take private polls but the rest of us are stuck looking to prognosticators like Ralston for what amounts to educated guesswork.

Here's a video that gives a good rundown on Pete's issues

- His racism problems. Both as a mayor and while on his current primary campaign.
- He evicted people from homes at 3x the national rate. Demolished homes at owner's expense.
- Surveillance on the homeless.
- His cutthroat work while at McKinsey. Including: mass layoffs, fighting unions, exploiting other countries' resources, increasing insurance premiums

Really want people to start calling out Pete's record with African Americans beyond his poll numbers.

His city paid a black family 1 dollar for every right violated when an officer got a wrong house and tased an innocent man, for a total of 18 dollars.

He famously used All Lives Matter to defend the same police.

He fired his city's first black police chief and refused to release tapes the chief recorded of officers being racist.

And now I see this?!

Yeaaah. Pete ain't going anywhere.

Yang's thesis is total bullshit. We're not seeing massive amounts of people being put out of work due to technology-unemployment is crazy low! What we're seeing is that the nature of work is changing in ways that are polarizing it and where we need to have much stronger social nets in place.

Honest question - does anyone actually believe a number that high means anything? does anyone believe this is a system that makes sense and that they are being charged fairly and that it should cost that much? does anyone hear a number that high and actually get worried and not think the gov't will handle it? does anyone NOT think that they are just charging whatever the fuck they want?

I cannot see it.

They're finally treating Bernie like a frontrunner. Gotta love Pete, Biden and Klobuchar with the 1 - 2 - 3 on Bernie's healthcare fantasy.

Its crazy how many of the democratic candidates are against universal healthcare as if it was a threat to our very existence. Makes you remember just how moderate this party is jesus

Buttigieg coming across real tepid. I'm imagining each of these people sparring with Trump and I think every last one of them would hold up better than Pete.

Buttigieg is saying a bit but I'm not really sure what he stands for.
Frankly he comes across as someone who stands for nothing.

The poor and lower classes having better lives is terrifying for well off moderates.
Far be it from me to defend the Terrible Trio, but they're not against Universal Healthcare, they're against Benrie's implementation of it, mostly for electoral and implementation reasons. I think that if you gave them a wand that would make it all go perfectly they'd wave it, UT as is, they think that there's other ways of going about it that are more better in a practical outcomes way.

Dude this guy just laid it out straight up.

And now Pete is talking. He would make a great ad spokesperson.

Not able to watch, cliffnotes anyone?

Question: How can you beat Trump in November.
Pete: By coming together and let me tell you why the person who'll do it is me
warren: By uniting the party and coming together and let me tell you why the person who'll do it is me
Yang: By getting together and beating Trump by coming together and let me tell you why the person who'll do it is me
Biden: By beating him through coming together and let me tell you why the person who'll do it is me
Amy: Unity and let me tell you why the person who'll do it is me
Steyer: By uniting and let me tell you why the person who'll do it is me
Bernie: By letting the working class know that we're for them and we are going to do everything we can to get them medicare for all, too many people can't survive, $15 an hour, taxing millionaires and billionaires, etc.

followup Question: Why is garbage pale bernie a dirty commie socialist monster?
