Off-topic but the weird reaction to communism reminds me of a video I was watching about the Destroy All Humans remake...
Where the YouTube guy was like "I love this game because it makes fun of communism!" followed by scenes of the game mocking the Red Scare panic of the time period Destroy All Humans takes place in.

I don't think I've ever, in my life, seen Youtube recommend me one of his videos. I don't think I've ever seen a tweet of his unless it was someone replying to dunk on him. I literally would not know who this person was if it wasn't for people making content about him.

These sorts of folks typically tend to appear in THE ALGORITHM when you start watching videos about topics adjacent to the things they're most likely to scream about. If you watch videos about Captain Marvel for example those kinds of videos will start popping up in your feed. Even if the ones you're trying to watch are positive videos, the algorithm isn't smart enough to determine that and it'll feed you the alt-right anti-SJW crap that people like Quartering peddle.
I had a friend who took Starship Troopers and Liberty Prime from the Fallout series 100% seriously. There's some right wing blind spot there that I have yet to figure out how it works.
It's their complete lack of understanding of the concept of satire, somehow a universal trait for that demographic.
I remember I took a class in college on satire in fiction and even then some of my classmates didn't get it.
Like how do you take a college-level course on satire and still take it at face value? It's unfathomable.
I remember seeing this video with him, he's a complete moron/hack. No idea how he has an audience. I blame YouTube recommendations.
That's pretty much it. He harassed a Magic cosplayer and the whole MTG community turned on him and he was banned from playing the game, then he just doubled down on his behavior.
That would certainly explain an awful lot about the state of their political cartoons.
The extent of their understanding of any topic is "Us great, you dumb".
They're so desperate to find validation for their beliefs outside their media ecosystem.

I've watched a video of his by accident as YouTube recommended it. I checked out what other videos he has and saw a lot of videos hating on Captain Marvel/Brie Larson. Ever since then I was always super careful of watching videos YouTube recommends. Fuck this loser. Hope he loses his YouTube channel soon. I hope others like him e.g. Jontron and angry joe are next.
It really can't be highlighted enough how just lazy and low effort his channel is. He's a dickhead grifter...but he's so lazy at it too.
I remember when I was watching videos to hate on Anthem I stumbled on a vid of his that was like 90% reading reddit comments and agreeing with them.
It's clear his videos are all first takes. There are no scripts. He just turns on his camera and wings it. In many cases he's just quickly reading an article or comments. Somehow that's enough for his audience.
Yea absolutely not a fan of this guy's style of video essay. I think his point would be better come across if he changes his style of presentation.
I agree with this guy's points but this was a really tough watch. The cat voices gag did not work for me at all nor did the humor. It persists throughout the entire video.
Is there another YouTube other than Bob(saw his) and CC that covers this?

The amazing part isn't how long these people are able to keep going with their lies but what weird moment that'll make them fall.
Same, he reviewed an obscure FPS game that I wanted to see how it was. Then his true self came out in the last couple of years, for me I noticed it with his Firewatch review, then it was unforgettable like when he complained Battlefield 1 had black soldiers, and he's been non-stop anti-SJW and "keep politics out of mah vidya gams".
