Do premium deliveries on HardHow do you get Legend of Legend ranks and the badges that appear in peoples' profiles in the Bridge Links?
Noooooope
Dunno. With Death Stranding I genuinely feel small. After playing BotW for a while, Link starts to feel in control of the environment but I can't say anything of the sort for Sam and this post-apocalyptic America, even once you start rebuilding.DS is the best open world right after BotW for me but I cannot comprehend one saying that BotW doesn't have scale...
I've just finished watching what must be the longest cutscene or series of cutscenes in the game so far. 20-30minutes easily.
Started playing with no HUD and I quite like it like this.
Also one of my bridges is at 73k likes 👀
You can't, you can only replenish it. Same for all weapons that aren't grenades. The only way to do this is to rest at a Private Room.
I haven't tried it yet but when you sit down to rest (not sleep), can you read emails and interviews/tips in real-time? In cutscenes they show everyone popping the cuff links stuff a number of times to demonstrate things so I was wondering if you could effectively catch up on stuff without pausing the game world/rest time to do so?
🙏Yep thank god for that bridge some of those likes are from me :)
Hard to say, I've probably played no less than 6 hours a day the last 3 days (long weekend) and even at that I feel like I'm tirelessly thinking about the game when I'm not playing it. Honestly, I think that Alex and Jeff in particular are very "fuck you world I'm gonna be the edgy contrarian", both to the point that sometimes I wonder why they even play videogames anymore.Yeah that's true. In their discussions I don't think they have placed much weight on the delivery stuff they enjoyed in chapter 3.
Both of them seem to dislike the BTs and the "boss" fights...I wonder if it was made worse by trying to review it for a deadline.

Dan usually is a pretty positive guy when it comes to games, but he is very fickle and doesn't have a lot of patience.
I think in general though, when a couple of them are negative, it seems to infect the whole crew.
I thought so... but I can't see any being offered. Do you have to do something specific to trigger/take them?Started playing with no HUD and I quite like it like this.

There's just more to things like scaling up mountains than something like Breath of the Wild. Trekking through a snowstorm is a game within itself. Going through a valley and being flanked by these fuck huge mountains and formations is unlike anything I've seen in any game. I like BotW, but the world is just something Death Stranding has it beat in. The fact that Link can just sorta scale a mountain in like 5 seconds after he has Revali's Gale and enough stamina really hurts the illusion of the wide open world that Nintendo are trying to sell. It feels more like a playground than an actual proper world once you're able to get from point A to point B like it's nothing. Conversely, it took me 2 hours to make a delivery for someone deep in the mountains in Death Stranding, no Revali's Gale shenanigans there, just me, my floating carriers, and the wastes.
Yes. Absolutely.
No story deliveries, only standard deliveries. Also you gotta unlock premium deliveries which is like half way into Chapter 3 if I can recall. Once you select a standard delivery, the option to make it a premium one should appear to the left of it.I thought so... but I can't see any being offered. I hate BB and always having to calm it down.
Remove BB and this game would be much better. They nailed everything else and then tacked on this annoying little shit...
Don't do what? I've listened to both the Bombcast and Beastcast weekly for as long as either of them has existed, it's a pattern I've noticed with all of their personalities and how they coalesce.
Equipment no, cargo yesA quick question about ending? of chapter 2after first boss Mama says via radio that if you take the ship you lost your deliveries. Do you miss any other stuff as ladders etc... and bike cargo?
What chapter you on ?I've just finished watching what must be the longest cutscene or series of cutscenes in the game so far. 20-30minutes easily.
You can dismantle those structures from the map if you're getting tired of seeing themIs it just me or are sometimes way too much shit built by other players. There's like a postbox every 100 meters and signs everywhere. It's a bit much imo. Also, cargo EVERYWHERE - the completionist in me is sweating.
I thought he story said I could reduce the time of a mission for more reward, was that it? I couldn't see the option to do this though, I probably missed something...No story deliveries, only standard deliveries. That's exactly what Premium Deliveries are, there's usually some sort of condition attached to the order and if you fulfil it well, you can get an S rank Legend of LegendsI thought he story said I could reduce the time of a mission for more reward, was that it? Just putting the action or lack of it to one side for a minute, the game's overall presentation is off the charts. I mean if there is one criticism it is the lack of combat but that's not surprising unless you've gone into the game completely blind. The sound quality, the graphics, the atmosphere, the character designs. Then under that the way the whole weight aspect which impacts everything you do, the satisfaction from getting likes from building a simple rope down a cliffside. The way the environment impacts what you do.
The interviews are really helpful and they are really well written, they're fun to read. The songs in the game are incredibly produced, everything about what this game does is better than anything which has come before it which has tried to do it. The way some games manage inventory isn't realistic or the way you traverse the environment.
Everyone so bothered about what the game doesnt do which it never set out to do anyway, everything it does do is to an incredible level.

when you look at a jobs description, it gives two options, and let's you see the differences between normal and premium before you chooseSo i unlocked them. But where do i see them. I want to make sure i don't take one before i ready to.
Good stuffs. Thanks. 👍when you look at a jobs description, it gives two options, and let's you see the differences between normal and premium before you choose
No one knows?
Alright, what you gotta do is to go Orders -> Standard Delivery -> Pick the delivery you want to make by pressing X -> Then at the bottom you should see something that says "Make Standard Delivery" and "Make Premium Delivery". -> Hover over Premium Delivery and accept then you should be good to go.So i unlocked them. But where do i see them. I want to make sure i don't take one before i ready to.
I've only noticed it on the final part of the results screen where it shows your star. Not sure if you can see it somewhere else.
Open up the cufflinks by pressing OPTIONS, press left on the D-pad and go to "Bridge Links", hover over your name at the top then press X and it should display your total play time (I'm at 37 hours now ;^))
save your game, then load your save, the time is at the end of the save nameI've only noticed it on the final part of the results screen where it shows your star. Not sure if you can see it somewhere else.
👋I come to this thread for tips and other peoples experiences, but there too many spoilers being posted
gonna have to block some peeps until I finish the game
Keep at it my guy!
The better relationship with the places you deliver to star rating wise, the more upgrades/items you unlock, and story missions won't get you all the unlocks for a place usuallyI don't understand what the incentive for picking up random cargo I find on the ground, or taking optional missions is.

Why should I care. So far these are mind numbingly boring optional fetch quests that are exactly the same thing as the story missions. Why would I spend one second bothering with this?
I don't understand what Kojima had in mind for this game, but it's not working for me. It's the kind time-wasting optional stuff I hate, only this time it's the game too.
