Combat feels heavy and satisfying so far. Music is great as well.

Edit: playing on stadia. Running flawlessly on a Chromecast.

Hmm, bought on GoG; after selecting a save file to start a game, as the words start, game freezes and crashes. Doing the normal stuff like checking drivers, but I'm usually caught up. Anybody else ran into this?

The map does not have an indicator for the player position. Is that by design or an oversight/bug?

I just thought about this and it seems to be on purpose. The areas aren't too massive and pulse to indicate if you are in that area. They must want you to explore - would make finding the collectibles too easy.

Wow combat feels great with Strife. Been missing a game like Hunter reckoning and this gives a little of that feel. Controls very nice, War seems slow in comparison but is powerful. Like it.

This is a good get for Stadia. Kind of game good to just jump in and play a few minutes.

Is there any news about a Battlechasers 2?

First impressions are good, I like it so far. The game runs well and looks great. I wish movement was a little faster as the speed of the characters feel just slightly too slow to me. Combat feels good for both characters so far, I keep switching between them. I just beat the first big boss and I'm looking forward to more combat options etc.

Edit: Forgot to add that the music is great too.

Chiming in on some first impressions; combat is great, runs real nice on PC with out too many issues (I got a stutter here and there on initial load-ins of areas.) I enjoy that it is less about loot and more about its own kind of upgrade mechanics. You still get the satisfaction of busting enemies open and collecting health orbs and all that but it's definitely more combat-focused like a Darksiders game as opposed to the Diablo compaisons, which rules imo.

Only thing I have found negative in my short experience is that it kind of sucks the enemies aren't highlighted through landscape elements when they get in front of the camera. Your character gets a blue highlight but there's definitely been a fight or two where I've had to assume where the enemies were, or didn't realize they were there until they hit me.

Otherwise can't wait to keep playing.

I refuse to go to chapter 2 until I have found all 10 of the slacking demons.

So I'm stuck where you get the boomerang and have to hit the two blue glowing markers - they turn red but the door ahead doesnt open.

Not sure what the game wants me to do. It does create an icon above the red glow as if it expects me to do some other input but I cant get it to work.

If you're where I think, you will need two trickster keys to open the door. It will tell you once you go near the door.

Played the first chapter, good fun so far. Almost feel bad that I've permanently benched War whenever I don't literally need him to progress.

I can see now why they recommend playing with a controller. Something about the kb/m just isn't sitting well with me. I guess using WASD to move and then aiming with the mouse is what's throwing me off, not used to that setup with a game like this. I keep trying to use abilities based on where the mouse pointer is, not where I'm facing. Overall it's not bad so far but it's nothing great... yet.

Not a fan of the map and lack of player position and not being able to rebind map and the horse to mouse buttons.

Played two chapters in coop. Very nice to play. GTX 1080 struggles at 4K ultra, but playing in 1080p looks awesome as well.

I am not sure how the health upgrades work. They seem to only show when not in a level.

Yeah game is great very addictive. Keep coming back to it despite intending to get into No Man's Sky (its very confusing as a new player).

I was sold on a clip that showed a boss fight where the player pulls its arm off and smashes it over the boss' head.

Have to wait until next year as a console only tho :(

Thinking in getting this for Stadia. Price being higher than PC hurts a bit but I'll probably pull the trigger since I've been enjoying using Stadia as a service (console?)

Plays great, wish the games wouldn't sold at console prices though. I lucked or this time because it is the same price in the Canadian store

I must be missing something but how do I use Wrath as Strife?

Ah nvm, its on LT. The tutorials happen too fast and there isn't really a way to re-display them.

It's it possible to pay with random players on Stadia? I just see a friend's only option that I cannot change

Two hours in and I'm loving the game so far,I like playing War much more than Strife.
This game has some Kojima-level controller-fu going on though. So many different buttons do different things,I'm constantly hitting the wrong button.

Stadia port is solid. I would have never thought an isometric Darksiders would work but yep, it slams.
