Due to so many other games coming out and just the general vibe of it, this is a wait and see title for me. I really like a lot of what I see but I'm just not sure about it. Reviews and impressions will make or break it for me. Plus between FE and Astral Chain coming out before it I've got plenty to play until Luigi's Mansion.

This looked like a demo project from a newer developer at Nintendo that Nintendo decided to give the go ahead to pad out software but now are releasing it in a time where a ton of software is getting released. I don't expect high reviews on the game.

this isn't a nintendo game, they're just handling the publishing outside japan.
It does have a demo that you can try. It came out a while ago, though.

Man the preview footage for this and Astral Chain haven't been very good imo, especially for this game.
I'm so hyped for this. Reminds me of how I felt when I played the Zone of the Enders Demo on PS2 back in the day. Clearly an interesting concept that could make a great followup (ZOE2 was bonkers great)
What Astral Chain footage are you refering to ? Everything ive seen from the game so far looks great.
All of them, well except the section Taura play'd on treehouse which is to be expected from the director. All the combat demonstrations from the previews wasn't anything excited and didn't properly display combat. Looks more like they had no idea what their doing. I rather they had it showcased with someone more experienced with the game.
This applies to DxM as well since I've seen far more impressive footage from what people posted from the limited demo on twitter than what the previews shown so far.
Basically I'm saying to me, the demonstration isn't good could be better, the game is fine.

I don't doubt it, it just the demonstrations are not to my liking that's all.
This one is going to have to wait with Astral Chain so close, but definitely keeping a close eye on it.
Damn. Impressive. I did go and beat Armored Core 1 back in the PS1 again, after the demo. This made me appreciate the demo even more.
It was worse in the demo and it was still VERY fun. The game is like Armored Core with 2019 improvements to the user experience and modern sensibilities. Fantastic.
It's a Marvelous game. If it even breaks 500k lifetime it'd be a hit.
I didn't realize until the GameXplain video that this game has online co-op. The more I see of this game, the more I feel like it's gonna scratch the itch that Anthem was supposed to do.
