I'll be honest, if I dont get a fully upgraded PC until 2077 launches, I am really tempted to get this for Stadia if it means 4k60. Game just begs to be played at the highest resolution as possible. Textures look bonkers.

Just a simple appreciation. We should wait for the gameplay though..

And I'm curious, appreciation based on what? What you noticed in these shots that looks significantly worse than anything else shown before?

Yes we should wait for gameplay, but I don't think you would agree on argument of game having been downgraded significantly without something to go on.

All I can say is I do not regret getting RTX2080Ti. This game is going to be bonkers.

Really curious to see how this ends up looking on consoles. Any ETA on some form of hands-on impressions?

this blows the old TW3 builds out of the water

But they really aren't pushing the limits of what is possible either. CP77 does look good, but not TW3 levels before they made changes to rendered, lightning and geometry complexity.

Relatively speaking.

I think they are gun shy about pushing it hard like that now after getting insane backslash for TW3.

Hands on? March 2020, maybe.

Edit: Cohhcarnage mentioned in his stream that he has been hearing that CDPR will do extremely tight hold on the game with veeery limited and strict access to game before release date by outsiders. He has some contacts within CDPR.

Question: are there any new lines of GPU's released before April, 2020? Or is the 2080 RTX the way to go?

you'd be hard pressed to find another game with this render quality and micro level detail that is on the same scale as what's being promised. they are certainly pushing the limits of what these consoles are capable of

we saw open world games like watch dogs and unity around the time TW3 was first being shown off and the quality of those games (at the time) surpassed it

Nice picture of the bike. I bet someone is going to mod in a duplicate of Kaneda's bike from Akira.

There's no way I'll have the dosh for an RTX card before release so I'm hoping Geforce Now comes to my area in time for launch, really want to experience this the first time with RT effects enabled, looks absolutely gorgeous in those screens.
