Tell the devs that. They made the comparison themselves.Regardless, unless you can physically go into the world of the game with measuring tape these comparisons are kind of silly.

The amount of choices and open ended gameplay was the best part. I am expecting RDR to be scripted like all Rockstar games, and not dynamic like this one.
Hopefully they do make it dynamic (as they said in the previews bit that remains to be seen).
I could honestly watch this forever. It kills me. So so funny.

Rockstar has only spent 8 years developing RDR 2, 6 years developing brand new A.I, united all it's studios for one global effort on the gameThat's very reductive considering the interactions, details, and so on present in RDR. CDPR having a dense city and RDR having a frontier doesn't make RDR inferior in ambition or design
The hud isn't anything special just because they have in universe explanation for it. It isn't suddenly different to other shooters and for functionality stuff like the optic zoom it could just switch to first person.

Didn't play Witcher 3 so I have no frame of reference for the amount of random "stuff" there is to do in a CDPR open world game. My disappointment would be in strictly in comparison to games like Skyrim and GTA5, where there's a ton of exploration/nonsense to partake in. Even if the game isn't strictly linear, if there's no incentive to just fuck around in its world I'd consider that a bummer.LOL. Witcher 3 was far from a linear game, but you think a game like this in a sprawling megacity will be linear?
I'm gonna get mad if I pick a Male and I woke up with a Female, or viceversa.
I'm already drafting up one on the dialogue.ETA until the first "think piece" article about how bad some aspect of this apparently was?
Upscaled for additional bitrate.
Not really. BGS last game was in 2015, by a team of only 100 people lolHave to give it to CDPR, this is embarrassing for everyone else in the industry (looking at you Rockstar and Bethesda especially).
RDR 2 is more impressive to me than Ghosts of Tsushima, it's doing alot more with its open world
Ghosts has great graphics, but i don't think the world will come close to Rockstar's most detailed world yet
No, they said for the purpose of the demo. They've confirmed it's always that guy in a Eurogamer interview.
The one change the demo did have is you could now play as male V as well. I was interested to see that regardless of the gender you always seem to wake up in the morning with a male companion.
Weber: In this demo at least you will always wake up to another man, so we can show different kinds of relationships will be part of the game, and players will be able to choose what kind of character they want to play.
