The biggest school fight I witnessed?

We had done a test a week prior and the teacher handed out the results. My score wasnt amazing also not too bad. I scored a C, and a fellow male classmate who sat next to me had a D.

While we compared our tests, I could hear a fellow female classmate approaching the teacher with a friend's test result. She said that both, herself and her female fellow classmate got the same answer, but different points for it. The teacher responded "Oh well, you are right. The answer is wrong, I would have to take away points from your friend. But since the two of you are so pretty, I won't." The female classmate with the bad score thanked the teacher for not grading down her fellow classmates work.

inportant to note: You may correct the score to improve, but not to worsen in Germany. It'd be illegal to downgrade a returned paper. That girl didnt know this apparently.

I was still comparing my test with my fellow male classmate. And of course we found same answers graded differently as well. I told my classmate to go and show it to the teacher -- he had nothing to lose. Either the teacher corrected his score for the better, or it'd remain same.

He talked to the teacher, and the teacher responded that my answer was wrong. Bummer, there couldnt be done anything about his test. THEN the teacher continued and substracted points from my score (scribbling on my test-results). (Obviously I was not pretty enough to get a pass from his made up rules.) My classmate returned to me, handed me the test looking really depressed and apologized saying it was all his fault etc. I smiled at him with an honest smile and told him it's okay, I will take care of it.

After the lesson I walked up to the teacher and requested him to take back his "correction" from my test-results, as it is illegal to correct handed out tests so the score goes down. He was an ignorant asshole, I confronted him with what he said to the other two female classmates. I asked again if this is his last word in this regard. He responded, packing his bag not even looking at me, that he will not give me back those points. I crossed my arms in front of my chest, stood right between him and the classroom door and had my angry glance fixed on him, him finally looking back at me. Then I said "You are leaving me no choice then. I have to report this to our head of school and the states education board. He thought I bluffed. He repeated, emotionless and totally not caring "I won't change that score back." and left.

I went straight to the head of school, explained her the situation and she took note of it but while she didnt dismiss it didn't look like she'd do much. Before we parted I told her that, if she didn't do something about it I'd have to report it to the state's education board. I was ready to take this case to the very top, not because of the stupid score but because the teacher was a sexist asshole who apparently graded tests based on looks, gender and what not.

I got my test back with the old result, said teacher hated me for the rest of the year but it was still a weak win since I got my score back and taught him a lesson not to bully students.

Yeah, no violence involved sorry.

A different (gym) teacher was suspended cuz he had in appropriated touched girls during class and also showed up drunk a few times. Wasnt in my class, so i just learned about it from classmates.

This probably isn't as crazy as your stories, but in middle school, there was a boy in my grade named Javorte (not sure if I spelled that correctly). He was a year or two older than us. He probably was supposed to be in high school at the time. He struggled academically, but he was obviously very athletic and big. He was generally a nice person with a short temper. Everyone liked him.

One day we had a new kid at school who thought very highly of himself. He thought he was a hot shot and wasn't scared of anyone or anything. I remember being in class one day, and I heard a teacher yell in the hallway, "Javorte, noooo!" And then a huge bang as a body hit the locker. Turns out the hot shot new kid thought he could take on Javorte. I didn't see the actual fight, but the memory of the teacher screaming those words and the bang that followed always stuck with me.

Mine…during my fight I stepped on the vice principal's foot somehow spraining his ankle and then punched him square in the face with a haymaker….I was nearly expelled. Suspended for three weeks…dude at like 70 had no way to stop the fight, took all of our security guard staff to break us up, also the fight took place in the cafeteria.

I had a nail torn off during the fight so went to the nurses office for treatment and then like five minutes later the security staff walks in carrying the vice principal as he can't walk with his face all bruised and a bloody nose…I tried to apologize but he went "Its a little too late for that!"

For what it's worth the school(students) deemed me the winner…

Some of you guys witnessed some fucked up shit on your school days. I've been in some fights and witnessed some others back then but nothing too crazy. Everyone fought like they were afraid of hurting someone and getting hurt (some inoffensive kicks followed by backing away quickly, weak jabs etc). And we probably were.

Our locker room was a portable trailer — there were several of them in a row. My high school had split into two campuses (they're two distinct schools now) and one campus was missing several things that it needed to be a fully operational campus. Hence trailer locker room.

My group of friends always got into it with this kid, we hated him because he was an arrogant fuckin herb. He and his friends ended up in our PE class. Him, another kid we didn't like because he thought he was tough shit, and a big dumb MF that just seemed to always be around. The school has us playing flag rugby…which I realize is ticking stupid. One day my team went up against Herb Squarehead and his crew. We beat the dog shit out of them and talked long shit too.

Got back to the "locker room" and they're trying to push another of our friends into a locker and they ripped his PE shirt up. Then Squarehead punches him. I legit hopped over two sets of benches, landed and slide punched Squarehead like Jermaine O'Neal in the Malice at the Palace. Next thing I know, he's bleeding from his mouth and nose, I have a cut above my eyebrow, there are at least 8 kids fighting — they pepper sprayed the room and we all got on campus suspension. By the end of our suspension, the rumor was that I flying kicked Squarehead and knocked him out. All four years it was known that my hands are rated E for everyone.

Had some students from another school raid our campus. They just ran in and started fighting people all over the school, must have been almost 10 different fights in one lunch break.

The wrestling coach even had to get in and throw some people to try and break up a fight. It was chaos.

Not a fight between two pupils but I can still remember on 9/11 when my Canadian high school physics teacher decked a little shitty chav who shoved him. Teacher ended up being suspended for 6 months and then had to teach with a supervisor watching him in the corner of the classroom. He only lasted 2 months before he left.

Aside from that, most fights at school were fistfights that lasted for about 5 minutes before it got broken up.

This was in the 90s in high school, in the US, in the South. And important thing to note was that big poofy bangs were popular then. Also perms, sometimes in combination.

Anyway, I don't know why, but about 15 girls got into an amazing hair pulling, nail scratching fight in the lunch room. A bunch of teachers had to rush in to break it up.

The aftermath? A lunchroom floor that looked like a dog groomers that specialized in poodles and carelessness. Big hanks of poofy hair, and a little blood, spread all over the place. Still feel sorry for the school janitor who had to clean that up, hope they got a little bonus or something.

I've long wondered if US high schools are as violent as they seem in popular media. This thread has taught me that it's possibly even worse.

Only thing I really saw was when two girls in my form had a disagreement that threatened to turn physical but they both tried to walk away. Problem was, a bunch of the "popular" lads (can't think of a better phrase, basically those few kids who were confident as teens) surrounded them and wouldn't let them leave until they had an actual physical fight.

It was really weird and all the boys in the year ended up getting detention despite it really being a small cadre of idiots responsible.

A food fight back in 8th grade that resulted in a couple of actual fights and then all the resource officers being called to the cafeteria.

Was pretty intense.

In the midst of class two girls exploded into a screeching ball of nails and hair, their desks twisting away and the entire room backing away. The teacher waded in after some hesitation and got their arms lacerated for the trouble. Later that day there was a bomb threat, so all in all a fairly memorable day.

Most of the fights I saw were quickly broken up. The worst was probably when a piece of shit was bullying this one kid and pushed him through a wall in our math class.

Craziest fight I remember was when I was in class, I was asking the teacher to go to the bathroom. Teacher said yes and I was about to walk out when I saw this senior running down the hallway. His clothes was torn and his face was beat up real bad. Guy starts yelling "Call 911 and don't tell them where I went"... he ran down the stairway real quick.

I was like "OK, some dude must have got his ass beat by someone else 1 vs 1...lol". A few seconds later, about 50 people came walking down the hall, looking all pissed off...one of them turned to me and asked me did I see a beat up guy run down the hall and where did he go. I pointed in the opposite direction of the other dude went and the group went down that hallway.

What I found out later on was that this guy had beat up this middleschooler real bad who was just there to drop off someone's lunch and was talking some smack earlier against the guy. What that guy didn't know was that almost all of little guy's family/friends and gang members all went to my school.

This is how I ended up finding out who to not mess with while in high school. Found out the guy found a police officer and transferred immediately out of the school....lol!

My entire class got in a fight with another entire class because of a girl.

I eventually became very good friends with her because of something else and it killed her of embarrassment to talk about it.

Here, duh.
Outside of the ones I was in, the only one I remember seeing was a couple of girls going at each other.

It was around 1986. The girls all had the giant 80s hair thing going on, and I remember there being some beef over that. Next thing I remember is the two of them rolling around like a couple of cats fighting. In fact, you know how in cartoons, they would sometimes depict vicious fighting as this cloud of dust with various limbs sticking protruding from the cloud and stars shooting out? That's almost exactly what it was like.

During lunch I sat at the nerds/outcasts table. One of my friends was extremely extra (Extra Friend, or EF) and would make big deals out of nothing. Another friend was very quiet, got bullied a lot, and generally had negative social skills (Nerd Friend, NF). EF was being dramatic and was sitting at another table at lunch over some minor thing. NF had forgotten to grab crackers for his soup for lunch, and our table looks over and sees that EF had literally grabbed a mountain of saltine packets, so we tell him "OH just go grab a packet or two from EF, he won't mind". We of course knew EF is extra as fuck, and that he probably would mind, but we didn't know he was about to start a fight over it

So NF grabs a couple of packets and thanks EF, who jumps straight up from his lunch table and starts shouting at poor, quiet Nerd Friend, and he starts squaring up. Nerd Friend is about 6 foot 3 inches, and Extra Friend is maybe 5 foot 5, but he's got the spirit. NF tries backing away because he's never fought a thing in his life, but EF keeps trying to get him to fight.

EF literally starts chasing NF around the back end of lunch room around all the tables without anyone intervening. The teachers are just lazily watching from the middle of the room, until NF stops running and squares up himself. Now, it turns out that Nerd Friend lives at the top of a cold, dark hill chopping firewood most of the year for his dad. He lets one punch fly into Extra Friend's face, and he goes straight to the ground. Nerd Friend is shaking, can hardly believe what he just did and the teachers finally start making their way over.

Extra friend, being extremely extra, pops up off the floor and starts saying "Good fight, good fight" and trying to shake Nerd Friend's hand, who is of course too shaken and disturbed by the violence he just unleashed to return the gesture.

They both got ~3 days suspension and Nerd Friend's bullying went way down

Nearly every fight involving guys was a lot of fumbling about aggressively that usually just went into a belligerent hugfest. The girls? They were fucking vicious. I saw a girl stab another girl with a pen for example.

A lot of the fights with the guys felt more like macho posturing modern dance while v the girls seemed to want to seriously hurt one another.

Most of the fights I ever witnessed were pretty run of the mill school BS. Most memorable incident that I witnessed that wasn't really a fight was in middle school. I had this kid in my class that routinely lost his cool (in hindsight, pretty sure this guy had issues going on in his home life unfortunately) in various relatively minor outbursts, but this day he really lost it. I can't remember what exactly set him off; our teacher either told him he couldn't go to the bathroom for like the third time that period or gave him a test back with a bad score. He stands up from his desk, yells "Man, fuck this shit man", physically throws his desk at the front of the room, breaking one of the legs, kicks his chair back (shit hit my desk, but didn't actually hit me), walks up to the front of the room and pulls a couple posters of the wall, and then he leaves the classroom, slamming the door behind him so loud that I thought the glass window was going to shatter. The teacher follows out into the hallway and yells his name a few times, though he clearly has walked off to wherever the fuck at this point. Our teacher just disappears for a bit and we're all like "what the hell was that" and then she comes back with the principal who is like "yeah, sorry, nothing like that will ever happen again, yadda yadda". I never saw that kid again; no real idea if he was expelled or what, but he certainly wasn't in that class anymore.

Not a fight, but I remember seeing a friend of mine snap-kick a tempered glass school door, shattering/splintering the glass. He was 8.

South Carolina native (this will become relevant in a moment.). So when I was in HS, there was a local hip hop act that took the confederate flag and put it in the traditional African colors (red, black, green) and made shirts with this on them. well the rednecks at my school got all pissed and decided to retaliate by wearing all sorts of confederate flag memorabilia.

One dumb girl decides she was gonna join in and wear a shirt that said "100% cotton, you picked it." My friends and I saw this at the beginning of the day before school let students in and we started to take bets as to which period she was gonna get fucked up in…

She didn't even make it to home room before getting straight stomped in the hallway.

Didn't really get many notable fights, fortunately. I think I saw a guy with a bloody nose once. Pretty calm class overall. A guy once kicked open a large metal door open from the inside that hit another guy in the head outside and he forgot how old he was for a few hours.

The one that caused the biggest stir was when some braindead jackass attacked a well-liked guy who made it a point not to respond in any way. The victim still got suspended due to the zero tolerance policy on anyone involved in a fight and the entire student body kicked up a fuss for weeks. Administration didn't give a shit though.

Saw fights nearly every week. Was a military kid and for middle school we had to go to the local public school and they hated white people and military kids. Craziest one was we were sitting in class and this dude comes sprinting into our room jumps over a desk and tackles this dude he had some sort of beef with earlier. He rips him out of his desk and they start throwing haymakers as we all push back and form a circle. Teacher is yelling, then another student literally grabs the dude by the collar and chucks him off the other guy. Bunch of screaming after and that was about it.

Reading this thread has made me realize I've actually seen more fights in my schooling time than I actually thought. From Elementary to High School. A lot of them weren't super crazy though.

The most interesting one was in High School in my Engineering Class. Some big country dude got put in a sleeper hold by some surfer looking upperclassman after repeatedly kicking the latter's shins and trying to swing on him. It was broken up pretty quickly, but the results of the match were clear and would've been even more clear had the teacher not intervened when he did.

Had a substitute teacher.
Everyone did their assignment quickly so we spent the rest of class just chatting in small groups.
Class "crazy" kid got his iPod stolen at some point.
Snapped at the whole room and started yelling at everyone to give it back.
One girl who was sleeping or at least trying to told him to shut the fuck up.
He lunges at her and ends up pulling her hair.
They had to be separated.
A little fucked up that they both got suspended.
Our main teacher, who was pregnant at the time decided to give us to another teacher since we weren't worth the stress. Which made sense.

To my knowledge that same kid got arrested for similar shit at least 4 times after high school. First year of college he flashed a knife at classmates who were pissing him off.

On my orientation day for Middle School.
5th graders would spend a day shadowing a 6th grader at a middle school they were interested in.
During lunch, 2 boys got up on the tables and started boxing.
The kid I was shadowing just kinda laughed and told me this was normal for this school.
I then went to that school and never once saw another fight my entire 3 years there.

In high school, I saw two girls get in a fist fight while heading to my bus to go home.
They were really just pummeling the crap out of each other.

Not a big fight but memorable. This was in HS. There was this fairly quiet guy who some people knew "was into boxing". In between classes everyone was in the hallway walking along and for some reason some bigger dude started yelling at him and shoved him. Mind you, the quiet guy was probably 5'4" and 120lbs, pretty small dude. The other guy was probably 5'10" and 175lbs. Well, quiet guy dropped his books, the crowd made a circle so they'd have room, and he proceeded to rope a dope around the bigger dude, dropping jabs and uppercuts along the way. Dodging punches like he's Neo. He wasn't just "into boxing", he was a trained boxer, who I found out later has been boxing since he was like 12. He got in about 5 or 6 punches to the face of the bigger kid before the bigger kid realized he had no chance to even make contact, let alone win the fight, and started to cover his head before the teachers broke it up. It was an absolute dismantling, and the quiet kid didn't even look like he was worse for the wear.

i got stabbed in the elbow breaking up a fight in middle school. other than that the fights i experienced were usually quick. someone knocking someone out or somebody getting knocked out. or they just don't know how to fight and are flailing at each other until one falls over and they both give up.

I don't know if this one was really a "fight" or just sexual assault, or what, but it was the wildest thing I ever saw in school.

I was in high school during a kind of woodshop class in this tiny building behind the main campus, where the teacher would routinely put in a DVD on woodworking safety or farming education and leave the building to do stuff. There was absolutely no supervision or any chance a teacher would even hear us acting up, so when the teacher left us alone, it quickly descended into chaos. Kids smoked weed in the utility closet. Kids were looking at porn in the corner. One kid brought a DVD of Soul Plane on put that in instead of the safety video.

One day, this kid starts poking at an older kid with a broom he got from the utility closet. The broom kid was poking him in the ribs with the end of the stick, and occasionally brushing it against the side of his face. The older kid took it okay for a minute but started to get pissed off. Eventually, he said, "If you touch me with that broom again, I'm going to shove it up your ass." The broom kid does not let up, and--sure enough--the older kid leaps out of his seat and snatches the broom away and tackles the broom kid to the floor. Then he proceeds to pull down the back of his pants and underwear and grab the broom. And... in the chaos, I don't know how far it exactly went, but I absolutely saw the end of the broom go between the kid's buttocks. Feeling satisfied, the older kid got up and went back to his seat while the broom kid got up and pulled his pants up, laughing it off. Meanwhile, the rest of the class was like... "What the fuck just happened?" Nothing ever came of it. No authority figure ever found out about it. It honestly wasn't even discussed much outside of that class.

My middle and high schools were known for their academic record, and they wanted to keep it that way, so strict disciplinary measures kept fights to a minimum. I don't think I ever personally witnessed one at all in high school.

But there was a rather large brawl out front once, which I wasn't there to see. One day a van pulled in just after school ended, and about a dozen Sikh students from a rival school piled out to settle a beef they had with a group of students at my school. Shit went down. I heard one of them even brought a chain. I never learned who the perpetrators at my school were, because the school tried to sweep it under the carpet immediately. Can't have that getting into the community newspaper.

Oh, and once in middle school, in the library, I told this one kid that the Sega Genesis' sound quality was awful compared to the SNES. Half an hour later he tracked me down in the lunch room, and punched me right in the stomach for that remark.

Two come to mind.

One was at community college. I was walking back to my car when a bunch of mexican guys jumped out of a sedan and started beating up this white guy in cargo shorts with no shirt on. He got a few licks in, but it was 4 vs. 1 so they had him beat pretty badly. Whole thing maybe lasted a minute or two. Then a cop started running towards them so they piled back in and made tracks. Funny part is the white guy got up, bloodied to all hell and back and put his fucking fist through the rear windshield before shouting, "WEST SIDE HOMMIE!" as they all sped off. Cops put the white guy in cuffs and made him wait for an ambulance while he was just bleeding on the curb.

Second one was back in high-school. These two girls had a big fight over this dude who was two timing both of them I think. Lotta hair pulling and scratching and shit. One girl actually had a piece of her scalp torn out, took 3 teachers to finally separate them and the dude was just standing there like a fucking jackass encouraging them to beat each other up. Both of them got expelled and the douchebag who caused the whole thing didn't get shit. A miscarriage of justice if I ever saw one.

In elementary school, a kid a year older than us picked a fight with one of my scrawnier friends. Ended with my friend sitting on his back shoving his head into the ground yelling "eat grass, bitch!"

The older kid was like the ring leader of his little crew and nobody intervened.

The guys would fight that would evolve into just trading a few blows and then calling it quits and the matter was resolved.

The girls though...the girls wanted blood if they were in a fight.

In middle school, a married dad apparently received oral by the mom of another student while waiting for their kids. The wife came. Beat, dragged her, and threw her down a steep hill.
