Aw, sad news. A legend. I grew up hearing his songs, and I recently went on a '70s country kick. He had some great tunes. Even if you don't like his country stuff, "Just Dropped In" is great psychedelic song. Too bad he went overboard on the plastic surgery. His chicken was good, too.

Way back when I was in the 4th grade (I'm 46 now) we had an assignment to show we understood idioms. One of the idioms was "face the music".

I wrote " When I went to Kenny Rogers house I knew I had to face the music".

My teacher did not approve.
