Confirmed Witcher Characters for Netflix series and their descriptions

Leo Bonhart, Vilgefortz, Cahir, Jaskier.
They're all from the books and some of them have mentions in the games, but they aren't from the Witcher 3.
Technically "Jaskier" is in the game.
edit: The series was never based off of a single game either.
I'm really not enjoying how those character descriptions were written...might have been cute as a one-off, but after reading four or five of them, I gave up. Annoying as hell.
Looking forward to the cast reveal.

Phew! Was really worried they were going to take this legend out of the show.
Because the books are about him and the games are a trilogy about him? Don't see how that is hard to understand. CDPR is done with him now and next Witcher game will not be about Geralt.
I wonder what the production value is going to be for this. Some of the most recent Netflix original series felt like budget releases compared to the stuff HBO puts out.

If done right this show could be a big hit for Netflix. The timing is just right with GOT ending as they'll likely absorb that audience looking to fill the void.

Aren't they releasing a lot of great shows? Or at least decent ones.
Their OG movies haven't been "good" (at least in terms of critical reception, though fan reception seems better), but every single Netflix series I've watched has been damn good IMO. I was worried about the Castlevania anime and they NAILED it.
