I bought 50 bucks worth of overwatch loot boxes.

That's it. I commonly don't mess with MTX.

Probably 100 on CSGO. A game that i played for 800 hours.

Another hundred or so for Rocket league. A game I have played and still play for over 3,000 hours.

Worth it.

Not sure on the exact amounts, but it would either be Elder Scrolls Online or Halo 5 for me. Both probably in the hundreds so I chose the 300-1000 poll option.

I put about $50 into Clash Royale when that was a thing, waste of money. There are a few more instances, but that's probably the highest example of true, pissing in the wind MTX.
Other than that, I'll buy the season pass for games I want, but I don't consider that MTX.

Hmmmmm I may have bought some cosmetic DLC costumes, and if that doesnt count, then there was that time I bought one Overwatch lootbox.

I probably spent about $50 to $75 on Mann vs. Machine tickets back when that mode dropped for TF2, but about a third of that were tickets I bought to gift to randos so they could fill out the room.

Man I miss TF2. Wish the Mac port wasn't so trash.

I paid 99 cents for a TLoU weapon. That only happened because I was buying Spidey DLC and had a bit of change left over.

Other than that, none.

I think I've spent around 24 usd on yugioh duel links.
The most expensive thing I've bought is a red eyes dragon deck for 2usd. The other was an 1usd pack that included 3 card packs and a altra rare card.

$20 in Rocket League

$10 once when the blind boxes came out (which I quickly realized were shit), then another $10 when they introduced the Rocket Pass

Other than that, don't really buy microtransactions. I've never spent a dime on microtransactions in a mobile game though, as it was clear really early on how shitty those were.

Around $600 in League of Legends over a period of 7 years but half of that was probably gift cards. Still, ~$7/month is more than reasonable for the amount of enjoyment I got out of the game.

I'm up to probably $200 in Fortnite after a year and a half. Again, the amount of time I play these "free" games, I'm happy to throw them a bunch of money for skins / cosmetics.

20 bucks on OW and maybe around ~100 in league of legends. Considering LoL was F2P and I played it for years I never thought much of it. But I felt like a cad over buying OW boxes...I needed that black lily widow skin.

I think it counts, as it certainly wasn't major DLC, but £4.99 for a Gran Turismo 5 car pack is literally all I've ever spent. And I think I only did that because I had money left over in my PSN wallet.

Oh, and a GTA IV PSN avatar of the girl licking the lollipop for 20p; though I never saw anyone else with it, so I felt kinda special...

I voted for 60 but it's much less. All i ever bought was the Delorean for Burnout Paradise and the Delorean for Rocket League.

Right now I'm at about $9,200 spent on Fate/Grand Order for the past two years. Before you guys judge me I play other games on my 3900X/1080 Ti, PS4 Pro and Switch too.

I live in rural area with not that much social opportunities around, so all my income pretty much go into entertainment fund. I also own a TOTL headphone setup.

Spent probably about ~$120 total on a mobile gacha (Brave Exvius). Probably should be embarrassed by that but I played it studiously for 2.5 years so I'd say I got my money's worth.

I'm not entirely sure, but I've probably spent about $150-$200 on GuildWars 2 Gems in the span of about 3 years.

Mostly to get around grinding...

I've spent money on Overwatch and Warframe. Other than that, nothing. I'll only spend money on games that I feel give me value without having to spend anything if that makes sense.

I've bought a few $39.99 sets of Overwatch loot boxes. 100% worth it for the amount I play and the work Blizzard puts into the game, and the enjoyment I derive from it.

If Rock Band DLC counts, then... I have no idea. LOL

I spent a few dollars here and there on that badge game on 3DS a few years ago. Otherwise, I don't spend on consumable MTXs unless they're Google Play credits I've earned through surveys or those Uplay points.

Around $30 over a week with that 3ds crane game. I felt compelled to get those Monster Hunter badges, dang it!

Thankfully got them, and whatever else was up that week. Since then, I swore off doing it again

Yeah I'm either $1-$60 or like $1000-$3000 depending on if Rock Band counts (I assumed so when I voted).

So many songs over the last decade. I still play often so totally worth it for me.

Probably ~$60 total, for SFIV and UMVC3 I spent money on costumes.

For non console gaming I spent 10 or 15 on Pokemon GO

Spent a good £300-400 on Warframe. About £100 on Hearthstone and about £100 on Path of Exile.

I'm happy that I've never spent any money on MTX. I always think to myself, what else that $1-$5 can buy me and that usually stops me dead in my tracks.

I always think, this skin/gold for one specific game I might not even be playing next week or a new book, album, or a whole new game.

I'm proud to say very, very little. Maybe 50 or so crates in Rocket League and Overwatch across 3-4 years, tops.

I've dropped around $400 into SWTOR in the purchase of cartel coins since the game launched. I don't view it as too much spent because I enjoyed the stuff I bought with them over those years (8 years in Dec). But other than this, maybe $20 or so in other games, not much.

Oh and I also did get that sweet Warframe glitch a couple years back for the $100+ pack for what, like $10? So yeah that was a nice deal, too bad I don't play the game anymore because it confused the shit out of me day after day.

I own around 200 skins on my LoL account.
Riot's site says I spent $1310 on it.
i bought 3 skins in 2018,
4 in 2017,
6 in 2016,
20 in 2015,
40 in 2014,
73 in 2013,
33 in 2012,
6 in 2011,
9 in 2010.

During 2012-2014 I didn't buy many other video games (maybe 2-3 a year). I haven't put any more money into it since seeing how much I spent, lol. I don't really play LoL anymore outside of occasional casual sessions with friends.
Probably 100-200 was spent on gifting to friends.

I think ME3 Multiplayer and Halo 5 are the only other games I've spent big money on, but not nearly this much. Maybe like $100 a piece.

Maybe like $200 on some F2P fighting game. That was over a decade ago, I was a kid. I've spent that amount over a period of five years on that single game.

Now? Absolutely nothing.

Like $5 in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.

No regrets, that game was super fun to play with friends, I wish they'd make a full retail version.

Spent about $200 or so on some ships in Star Trek Online years ago. Don't play it much any more though and haven't spent anywhere near that on any other game.

At least $400 on Warframe, though that is also over the course of ~four years.

Probably about $75 or so on silver stuff in Destiny 2 over two years.

Probably 300-500 on Hearthstone when i was very very into that game, which is still magnitudes less than the amount spent on MTG. That's pretty much it though.

Mass Effect 3's MP : ~$300
Warframe : ~$200 over many years

This may have changed in Warframe, but at one point you did the math, it worked out that the prime frame packages because of 90-day booster inclusions make the most sense if you're going to play the game regularly for the next 3 months - you can't get better boosters or match the length for less credits any other way, and the cost ends up being like $1 / day if that's your main game over that time period.
