I'm still working my way through Black Cat and I still love it. Mass Effect has been taking most of my time but I finally finished 1 yesterday and I was trying to get the platinum until I realized I don't have a character with access to neural shock. I'm going to start 2 again soon.

In the meantime I'm gonna start on either the Conan I bought from the recent CMX sale or the Hellblazer which I borrowed from CMX. I loved the first issue so probably that.

Yeah, I missed a couple from ME1. I'm at 93%. But I got the plat from ME2 and I'm working on 3 now.

That's the only one I need. It's giving me flashback to Assassin's Creed Odyssey where the only thing I'm missing is the completion of the entire map despite checking and double checking everything. I'm definitely looking forward to starting ME2 though, I love that game and never played 3.

Do you mean the Hermes's Homie trophy? That shit took me a while to figure out. I thought I missed one region of the map, turns out I missed like 5. You have to zoom way in on the map and comb over everything. Because sometimes the map texture of the unexplored places is very similar to the rocky areas. Most of what I was missing turned out to be around Lakonia and the mountain in that area.

That's the one. I'll check the area you mentioned but I swear I've double checked all the problem areas including that one. I spent a few hours now looking at the map and listening to podcasts and I don't get it. I heard sometimes it pops when you start playing again so I'll try again even though I've already done that multiple times. I told myself to just move on but it still drives me crazy lol.

If you are going to go that far, why not just put her in her classic costume.
You know that looks fifty times better.

Absolutely this. He wanted her wearing this in Heroes in Crisis and DC blocked it. So he tried again here. Probably should have taken the hint.

Goddamn X-Men really is an infinite comic hole of endless characters and plots.
I love it!

Also Blindfold and Legion are super cute together.

Those 10-page previews of Robins and Suicide Squad Seven on DC Infinite made me feel nothing. Didn't even care to read SSS after a page.

Grenade in a bird's nest, huh? I'll pass, I think.

I really need to read the Spurrier Legion since I already have all the Carey stuff. My friend loved it and Blindfold is great.
You'll love it dude I'm sure.
I wanted some more Legion after reading him popping up in Way of X.
And Spurrier's X-Men Legacy Legion seemed like the place to go.
It was.

I had no idea who Spurrier was when it came out and now he's one of my favorite writers. My friend was just buying any and everything X-Men at the time lol. I need to check out his X-Force too.

and especially Way of X. Just waiting for a sale.

I have had such a hard time reading comics this last year. I'll read a few pages and want to stop. I've had an easier time reading dense socialist theory books the last year than comics. Am I broken?

Finished a 400 something page novel just an hour ago, but comics are hard.

The pandemic did I number on me with movies. I went from watching them all the time to barely watching any. Something about sitting down for 2 hours plus and focusing on something during COVID just didn't feel right, I had to force myself to watch movies that I normally would've watched ASAP.

I read a ton of comics since those are always super quick, at least when you read one issue at a time.

I keep flipping between comics, manga and novels.
The trick is to read at least 5 different things at once.

I've been the opposite. I can easily read comics or an entire manga volume but I'm halfway through a great Charles Manson book and at the very end of a Replacements book and for some reason I just can't finish. The same is true with a Murakami book and he's my favorite author. At least that ones all short stories though. I used to read novels voraciously, I'm not sure what happened.

I'm used to having droughts or my hobbies cycling, but this is the longest I've been barely reading comics in many years.

I should probably read Batman. That'll fix me.

I'm the same. I think it might just be burnout with comics? I've been stuck reading Castle Waiting for a while. In the mean time I've read 6 or 7 average-sized novels and 1 whopper of a novel. And Castle Waiting was a comic I was enjoying too. That said my comics reading funk has been a thing for a few years now. Certainly longer than any usual burnout period for me.

I think it's a good thing to take a break. I do it with games occasionally. Comics too although less frequently. I think with games I feel like there's more choices even though that's clearly not true. Maybe just because of different gameplay styles and different genres.

Right now, Way of X is doing the heavy lifting for the X-men line to me.

College did a number on my desire to read anything for leisure, the pandemic brought me back to comics though as I got some extra free time.

I've been wanting to get Locke and Key for like six years but haven't pulled the trigger on it. One of these days that collected edition will be super cheap and then that's when I'll get it.

Is "hulk smash" she hulk a Aaron thing or does it pre-date Aaron's run?
As a norm, it's an Aaron thing. As a concept, no it's happened before. She went gray once too.

She-Hulk-Goes-Savage-1-580x392.jpg

Hell, Ewing did it in Ultimates just prior, in keeping with "stronger means dumber and angrier" idea, which is a general Hulk thing.

I also think there was a grey Savage run post-Civil War 2?

Does Adam Hughes only do covers? I always see his covers (they're fantastic) but I don't think I've ever seen any interiors from him.

She was kinda-sorta rebooted after Civil War II, when she went into a coma and woke up with PTSD and stuff. She reverted to the "savage" She-Hulk from her first appearances. Jen was afraid to transform into her, and she was all grey and scarred and violent

Aaron took it off in his own direction with the classic "dumb Hulk" persona applied to her, which I don't think has much of a precedent as a status quo.
