It's always the smallest things that set them off.

The show going full-on pro-weed is A-OK. A two-part episode apologizing to Al Gore and saying he was right all along is A-OK. A two-part episode that savages Amazon, big corporations, and showing the guy quoting Karl Marx as in the right is A-OK.
But revealing that Token is really Tolkien was a step too far?
Republicans on social media are very upset that South Park has gone WOKE because of the Tolkien thing.
Honestly that's an instant classic for me, so brilliantly done.
And I immediately checked the South Park Phone Destroyer game to check and they changed the name already ha.
Wait what the fuck…. Holy shit
Also, what clan are you in? I play that game a lot.
Only got into the game this year so I'm hopping around clans, current one is "dryskoolmusical"
Yes, Tolkien's dad was (primarily) voiced by Trey before this episode, now he's voiced by the same person as Tolkien (Adrien Beard)Did they change the voice actor at the end to an actual black guy after the meta 4th wall "doesn't even sound black" joke?
If so that's genius
Tolkien Black. That's fucking brilliant.
Sure, it's a blatant retcon. As seen here and in the subtitles for both games. But it's a funny way to do it.
Though I figured they would stop the ongoing stories, but this one isn't too bad so far.
*TolkienI don't get why people are saying South Park changed Tolken's names in episode write-ups and such. He was always Tolken. Do we have giant pieces of shit in here?
I loved both episodes.
do matt and trey think rich/successful 'city people' are driving up home prices? do they not know that investment firms after the great recession have been buying up more real estate as a large part of driving up home prices in recent years?
also - and maybe it's just the folks i've been aware of - but the ones leaving bigger states and heading out to smaller states/towns have been republican wasps and not fit/'hip' liberals leaving cities for suburbs.
at least in the previous episode, they harped on white people who are afraid of being perceived of being racist to the point where they overcorrect too hard and make the conversation about themselves, and that's a real thing. i feel like the conflict in this episode was lazy observation through the lens of their conservativism/libertarianism. maybe i'm wrong about that/the housing market. idunno.
