That's because Auburn's defense didn't get worn out like Oregon's did.Ducks had so many chances in the first half to put the game away, and then did nothing in the 2nd half.
First game of the season, weird crap can happen for everyone who isnt coached by Nick Saban. Seriously Harbaugh restored the program to respectably after the Rich Rod and Hoke disasters. You don't fire him unless you really need to or you could end up in that type of situation again. College football has just passed Michigan by, what Harbaugh is doing is the best we should expect as Michigan fans now. He just needs to occasionally beat Ohio State.
next year we have a QB with no game experience that our HC doesn't trust to put in the game. LolOh Oregon, maybe next year. Snapping defeat from the jaws of victory.
Another 8-5 season at best on the way. Thanks Arroyo! Herbert! Cristobal!
It's wild that they haven't fixed college football at this point, Oregon's season is literally over after just about 3 hours of football.
Only 7 pages? Back in the day, y'all would do 7 pages just on Tennessee!
Anyway, War Damn Eagle!!!
.Tennessee paid $950,000 for the privilege of giving Georgia State its first P5 win.
Now compare majors/classes taken. As well as tutoring and possible... dubious means of advancement.ResetEra thinks that money donated to and generated by college athletics takes away from academic funds. Funny thing though, college athletes have a higher graduation rate than most general student populations.
I know barstool can be pretty shit, but they had the best version of the Cam Newton/Bo Nix pic and the explanation behind it. I'd ibhad found a tweets as good or better than this one i absolutely would have used it, but I couldn't at the time.Hey listen man. I know you were just posting a tweet about the significance of Bo Nix's comeback Against Oregon and it was awesome. But Just to let you know Barstool Sports has some of the most toxic journalists and fans out there. It's okay if you didn't know about them, but next time perhaps post a tweet not from Barstool.
ESPN+ for now will only have certain college leagues with limited games. You won't get linear ESPN content there. If he likes soccer, UFC, boxing, etc., it could be a good option to look into if available overseas.Random question but if anyone would know it's you guys. My son is stationed in Japan and has an xbox one. Is there an app that he can get or what is the best way he can watch college games while he's over there? Roku maybe? Espn+ app? Not sure what the best cheapest route is.
We need some common sense back into officiating. If Bama's sideline can't get hyped for a INT and if Auburn can't spike the ball when your true freshman chucks a go-ahead jump ball for the TD instead of kicking the FG that ends the game, what the fuck are we doing? This ain't the pros.
And I'm against vulgar displays and taunting as much as the next Gator who had to watch that LSU kicker rub our shitty faces into it after the fake that one year.
But come on.
I can understand on the first one because the rules of when the goal line extends beyond the sideline are kinda weird imo. If it was a reception where the first foot was inbounds and the second was out of bounds, then the goal line is extended outside the sidelines. But because Hurts became a runner, he has to establish himself inside the endzone for the goal line to extend out of bounds. Also I might have been thinking of the third running TD in that game instead of the first.Tennessee so bad a fan has a new theory: maybe they lost on purpose? Lmaaaaao
Houston OU game going about as I expected. Two things:
1. That one commentator thought the first Hurts run was a TD because his left leg crossed the plane despite his right foot being out of bounds and the ball already way across the sideline. Wtf?
2. Might be an overreaction to OU's defense based on this game. No doubt they look good against a competent offense but I'd wait to see a few more games in.
Honestly looked miles better tonight then last year, and better than I expected and that's with my usual skepticism of ND being about 10 spots over rated at all times in my near 40 years. If they bring that same level to these next few games and build on what Satterfield has started my hype for this season may just go up, had us at 5 maybe 6 wins but saw potential tonight for that to improve to 7-8 if, and big IF, team continues the intensity and focusLouisville ball!
We actually have a game?
And they turned it back over!
Week 1 Meltdown Edition
Tennessee, Florida State, Mizzou and Oregon, come on down, you're the next contestants on seriously oregon you let that happen?
