You know you're out of touch when ya got no fucking idea who that is lol
What about Mr. Peanut
Do you also have no idea what Google is and how it works? ;)
This is mostly bad for sex workers.
Also, side note, but I'm curious as to how both she and Zendaya became stars off of "Shake It Up" when that show was complete dogshit that had zero cultural staying power or relevance. I feel ridiculous for even having been in the same room when my sister was watching it during its runtime.
A sex worker I follow kinda made a point that while moves like this might help take away the stigma, It also sucks up a lot oxygen in the room possibly taking cash from people who's sex work is their primary means of income
Are there any studies on the people who spend money on that? Cause I think this isn't pure lust and attractiveness. The pictures are super vanilla like a regular post on insta.
I think this goes deeper than that. It's more emotionally based.
I could see an argument for why this is the case but I'm still not convinced. She's not directly competing with them? It would be like if a film Kickstarter came in in 2013 and grabbed three million bucks...did that negatively or positively impact Kickstarter in other categories?Def fucking over sex workers but it's ok gotta respect "the hustle"
I consider myself to know quite a bit about film and I had to go to IMDB. I had heard her name but thought she was just a socialite... LOL
The argument is that it while it takes money from the pot, more eyes/less stigma grows the pot.
Without more research it's difficult to say if it's a net benefit to everyday users or not.
I'm not 100% convinced that this particular event will have any long term negative impact on other users. I can't imagine many people forgoing their daily dose of the parasocial to pay for some sterile maxim style glamour shots of a B list celeb.
I still think rich people using modes of generating income most frequently used by poor people is gross though.
Good for her. I will never understand people that get uptight about this stuff. There are actually dudes out there that get mad at other dudes that pay for onlyfans and I just don't get it. I don't participate but I don't give two shits what others spend thier money on and these girls or guys can make a good, relatively safe living.

Onlyfans is owned by the same owner of Myfreecams..Leo Radvinsky. He bought OF in October of 2018 I believe. He gets to double dip since many models from MFC have an Onlyfans page so het gets another cut though not as much as the 50 percent cut on MFC. So there will never be any shadowbaning on there lol.I could see an argument for why this is the case but I'm still not convinced. She's not directly competing with them? Of course, Only Fans could pull a Patreon and eventually shadowban sex workers after getting that family friendly money, but I don't know how likely something like that actually is.
No
I thought OnlyFans is for hardcore porn stuff?
Onlyfans is softcore for simpsI thought OnlyFans is for hardcore porn stuff?
So she is doing what, softcore?
That's cool for her, but I do think it sucks up oxygen from people using it to try and make a living as much as it could bring light and attention. Hopefully it brings more paying customers to support regular folks using it to get income.
Only fans is depressing though as you can see how little people want to pay for porn. Obviously stealing porn is huge and well accepted piracy, you can even see it regularly places like here where people proudly scoff at paying for porn when you can "get it for free" aka pirate it. If you follow any sex workers or cam girls you can regularly see them discount subscriptions for like under 5 bucks a month, which is great, a sale everybody loves a sale. But you can see how hard they have to scrape just to get people to buy into it. And a lot of them have many pics and videos and such all month. It's such an odd thing for a product or service or work to have such HUGE demand but people take it as a point of pride to not pay for it and proudly steal it. Just bonkers.
Maxim style bikini photos. And OF isn't just for hardcore stuffI thought OnlyFans is for hardcore porn stuff?
So she is doing what, softcore?
im thinking of starting one, is anyone here interested in my cake?
I thought OnlyFans is for hardcore porn stuff?
So she is doing what, softcore?
hahahahaha that is amazingYou can post anything there. There was a tweet recently goin viral, where a dude gets mad because a girl he is thirsty for, only posts her cooking stuff with zero nudity
...I really do not understand how so many people pay for this stuff. I also had no idea who she was. Everything about this is incomprehensible to me, but if everyone involved is happy with it, whatever. The whole thing just seems utterly bizarre to me.
How many people are actually pirating porn in 2020? There are many sites that have more porn than any one person could watch in a year all available to stream for free 24 hours a day. Bing's number one use seems to be to index the near limitless amount of porn available on those websites. As for stealing, what percentage of people even bother to download porn any more? It seems rather pointless given how freely available it is to stream. When people say "get it for free" this is what they mean. Trying to paint this as pirating or stealing is disingenuous to say the least. You seem to be making an argument from a bygone era.
Everything seemed less comical when a fan messaged Lucy saying that they loved her new Pornhub upload. She freaked. The video wasn't supposed to feature on anything but small subscription-based site Wank It Now. Watching it back, Lucy was horrified. She doesn't do boy/girl material and the dildo looked far more realistic than she thought it would. Now people were assuming she was progressing onto more hardcore material. "My fans were sharing it around saying, 'oh my God, Lucy's doing proper porn now, she's got cum dribbling down her face'," Lucy tells me, over the phone. "I thought, 'no, I'm really not.' Now I get loads of messages asking me to do boy/girl stuff."
After the video, Lucy changed all her levels – the scorecard explaining to porn production companies how far you'll go. Now she won't touch sex toys, specifically fake cocks. Across her career as a performer, from camming to OnlyFans to porn shoots, Lucy has had hundreds of hours of footage stolen from her. Whether it's a video of her showering, making out with women, or full frontal nudes of her legs spread, someone will have uploaded it onto the internet.
Lucy is not unlucky. This is not some glitch in an otherwise fair system. Almost every time you watch free porn, whether on a tube site or at the bottom of some obscure forum, it has been uploaded without the owners' permission. This means that everyone involved, from the performer to the producers, won't earn anything. Porn does not suffer from a piracy problem. Really, the industry as it is now couldn't exist without piracy – it actively relies upon it.
This investment might have earned Fabian $150 million, but not everyone did so well out of the rise of these websites. Users ripping porn from paid-for subscription sites and uploading them onto the tubes for free, left the value of porn studios' work vastly diminished. Performers who used to make $1,500 an hour now get $500. Meanwhile, porn production companies have to hire a permanent member of staff to scrape the internet for their stolen videos.
Lucy has managed to get her work taken down off Pornhub, but says it's an arduous process. "You have to prove you're the owner of the video. Often people send them the original, unedited footage. If you can't prove it, they won't take it down." According to Lucy, you have to nag sites like Pornhub several times before they listen. "They make it such a struggle to take it down because they want the content; they are always on the side of the person uploading it."
You honestly think the majority of videos on someplace like pornhub aren't pirated and uploaded to watch "for free"? Show me any streaming site that is free and its a guarantee the backbone of it is stolen content that the site just looks the otherway and relies on copyright disputes to take them down, but only then.
What websites are you streaming that aren't relying on pirated content?
Edit: Hell on a number of the porn streaming websites you can watch pirated movies. They don't give a shit what is uploaded. Mind you not just pirating content form porn studios, but regular cammers and sex workers with far less influence and power to police their stolen content
https://www.vice.com/en_uk/article/...dtube-pornhub-piracy-alessa-savage-ukcutegirl Streaming websties are riddled with this stuff.
it's definitely just guysIt's literally the virtual girlfriend craze we've heard about before but with actual women. That's the long and short of it. Guys/gals subbing to onlyfans feel a personal connection to the person showing them their talents.
The same reason people support someone on Patreon? They enjoy their content?...I really do not understand how so many people pay for this stuff. I also had no idea who she was. Everything about this is incomprehensible to me, but if everyone involved is happy with it, whatever. The whole thing just seems utterly bizarre to me.
I never argued that the content is legit on those sites. I'm saying that implying that the people that use them are pirates or theives is disingenuous. Are people that don't double check the rights holders of videos they watch on youtube also pirates and theives? Much like the rest of the internet providing "free" content it's assumed that the platform holder is responsible for vetting content which is then ad supported. Really "why would you pay for it when it's free?" applies to so much of the content on the internet, including this very forum, that I'm not sure why you are singling out porn.
You know you're out of touch when ya got no fucking idea what "OnlyFans" is lol
