This is one of the dumbest looking operators they have ever done...

Work your way all the way to Tier 100 and get

The game is basicly the definition of 1 step forward, 2 steps back. There is a lot of stuff to like, but they removed a lot from WZ1 that people LOVED. A lot of the lessons learned from WZ1 in its maturity are just not here (slower TTK being the most important one).

The new map is great and I wanted to love it, but it's not the same. Maybe it's partly me, maybe it's the time (start of the pandemic helped WZ1 so much), but most probably it's the game.

Played a bit today after a while actually and it's only sweats left. Fuck that shit.

I think people are just tired of these GaaS games after lockdown. Way too many things to do now outside of gaming, and with the way these games stemmed structured you need a group of contacts to play with you so if one bounced then everyone might bounce.

I completely missed the boat on the first Warzone so I can't really compare it to anything, but even though I've put roughly 66 hours into it I don't really play that often Hour and a half to two hours tops at a time. The real kicker is how unstable the game is STILL. I'll crash 4/5 times typically early on but it just makes me not want to play it at all.

Why? This has been a thing surrounding mp games for decades.
Since BRs are mostly f2p titles I don't know what other metric should be used to gauge the success of any given BR.

it bothers me because it means games are gaining more and more flaws of capitalistic societies. like the idea that every new thing must new better, growth growth growth, and once something is no longer growing, dying.

It being the worst base design operator between MW19, CW and Vanguard is crazy.

Atrocious helmet slapped over one of the most basic uniforms possible.
Little splash of Gold for all that grinding

I've never seen the season operator in such little use in their season.

Not having 3-5 recolors each as previous BP skins really hurts it as well.

The health of an mp is game is quite literally how many concurrent players it has. People have been using and comparing this kind of information for decades.

map is okay...but just another classic Middle Eastern location that is just tan, brown, etc everywhere...just looks samey. Verdansk had at least a couple of biomes - which they could have done with Al Mazrah.

New IW is OBSESSED with the Middle Eastern setting. It feels like they only have brown shades in their color palette. I don't play PUBG but I bet even that has more colors than WZ2.

DMZ is shit. Having the M13B be locked behind and made it so vehicle are disabled when getting close to the chemist made it worse

You're crazy lol.

Killing the chemist is one of the easiest things to do. M13B is just too wild for average folks. I don't mind it being on a timer but I do welcome it as a full mode

Blackout called and said support me more
Oh trust me, I know. I made a thread all about Blackout here haha. Add in some teammate respawn mechanics, increase the map size & player count, and keep the focus on being a Battle Royale and it would really freshen up COD's offering.

I find a lot of the changes to be less intuitive than the first Warzone, and the new map to be harder to navigate landmarks - it just feels sloppy, I can't put my finger on why though.

A dumpster
They had way more devs,
They had full 3 years
The game has no damn content and S1 was 2 remake maps to last 3 months now

This shit makes Vanguard look great
So a couple things, those first 2 points are not necessarily true.

Activision like most major publishers have struggled to hire staff since the pandemic started which has hindered the content pipeline of these games. Another thing is that this is the first and only game created solely during the pandemic which is less then ideal for game development.

I think all the issues this game has are fairly common lately from other releases lately because staffing shortages + pandemic don't create better experiences.

Vanguard was obviously designed to be a quantity over any else kinda of title and sacrificed a bunch of stuff to meet those high weapon/attachment and map count by not having basic stuff like factions and map geometry being fairly simple relative to earlier titles, whereas MW2 is closer to something like Cold War or 2019 in terms of the amount of content at release. Problem is that they really shouldn't have upgraded the engine during MW2s development because caused some major problems with quality control and creating content.

What I hate about this game is the menu. I have a 55" 4K display and I can only see three selections. I have to scroll down to get where I want to go.

I agree with most of this but there is absolutely no excuse for the five steps back approach they took with QoL features.

Vaulting, pings, weapon/ammo pickup/drop is all OBJECTIVELY worse than WZ1.

I can understand like tweaking the game over time, but these little things impact the game greatly...and were never problems in WZ1
