Yes! I love Jaime Reyes he is a great character so I am super excited for this (DC better not screw up their first Latino Superhero movie)
Whether this movie happens or not, I'm still getting a Birds of Prey movie.
It's not a Nightwing movie, but I'll take it.

Assuming Ant Man like template with old man Kord discovering Jaime and the alien tech he found/stole
They should go with the route that Ted was the second Blue Beetle and retired from the superhero game. Jaime actually gets the scarab working, which is something Ted couldn't do and Dan couldn't fully do. Ted being retired from being the second Blue Beetle gives you a plot entry point for all the Golden Age characters in the DCEU and a mentor for Jaime.
And more importantly, Booster could still appear 10-20 years in the past for heroics with Ted and in the present because time travel is a wonderful thing.
I know it probably won't happen but Booster poppping up would be dope. Jaime is fantastic and the first run had one of the best family dynamics ive seen in a comic.
Jaime is too young for Booster, Ted/Booster is thumbs up though. Perfect pairing.
I object just because we would be less likely to see Rip Hunter if that were to happen.
What's the likelihood that WB gives this the same kind of marketing/awareness push for the Hispanic community as Marvel/Disney did for Black Panther and the black community?
