I hope they rescued the cat. He looks pretty chonky so he's probably only a recent stray. I hope they find its owner, if not find it a good home.
I was watching ESPN this morning talking about the cat, and their responses are why millions of black cats are found unwanted in shelters or killed because of superstitious bullshit. It's just a cat.

Looks like they still haven't located the cat. I live in the area and would love to adopt it but I'm sure many people do.
This cat will be able to adopt you once it cashes the royalty check.
