Fight me!
Ratatouille's Japanese name is pretty much a spoiler.Meanwhile, Japan always gets better titles upfront:
- Wild Speed
- Harley Quinn's Splendorous Awakening: Birds of Prey
- Grandpa Carl's Flying House
This ^It was a mistake to market it as an ensemble movie, because it really isn't. It's 90% Harley and then some others help out at the end.
Prey Birds off Harley Quinn
I am STILL struggling to understand why this is a Birds of Prey movie and not just Gotham City Sirens. One thing people forget is that birds if Prey is typically associated with Babs orBatgirl. Having neither Babs or Batgirl in there -and Cassandra, while yes is typically aBatgirl, in here she is not,.
So no bat to grab on, and most want Harley with Pam. So no poison ivy and no Batgirl leads to non comic fans going, confused.
Batman Presents: Harley Quinn ft The Birds of PreyLame but at least better than: Joker Universe Presents: Birds of Prey.
That certainly hasn't helped. Not every movie needs to be Deadpool or JokerI think it's the R rating that's keeping a good portion of the people who like HQ and who liked SS out.
It wasn't called Harley Quinn: Suicide Squad. People didn't go see it for Harley, she was just the only good part of it and became a really popular Halloween costume. I feel like WB misunderstood that at some point.Wasn't HQ one of the reasons why Suicide Squad did numbers? Though, I guess you can argue that it was the "reintroduction" of Harley into live action which drawn a lot of eyes
Last year Fox remembered to add 'X-Men' to Dark Phoenix's title sometime after releasing itWhat other movies have changed names mid release? Was Edge of tomorrow called live, die, repeat? 😂

To be fair, the Birds of Prey title never made sense even in the comics. Black Canary is the only main bird and a canary is certainly not a Bird of Prey. Probably why the group name didn't pop up until deep in the initial run.I am STILL struggling to understand why this is a Birds of Prey movie and not just Gotham City Sirens.
Initial Responses from the Trailer when it was first revealed was Too much Harley. Why is this called Birds of Prey? So somehow doubling down on harley does not seem to be the solution
Which was apparently more then the number of people rushing to see Harley Quinn
